We had a late evening meal in the bar area of the hotel. The menu was varied and had something for everyone. My daughter was given a colouring and puzzle page. Our food was delicious and reasonably priced, though there were a lot of bones in my tasty fish.

Went here as a group and had booked through the internet, I had cancelled and booked again as I wasn't sure if I had breakfast included the first time I booked and it wasn't evident in the confirmation, so I know i had included the breakfast option, yet when we arrived at hotel the manager was telling us that we... My husband stopped here for a bite to eat on our usual journey from wexford to Valentia Island. We were greeted v warmly and shown menus. Not being v hungry we ordered a platter to share which included chicken wings, onion rings and spring rolls. We also ordered a side order of chips. While we waited for our food we... More

We were served quickly and efficiently and the food was good but not outstanding. We were not inspired to have a dessert.

Excellent! Great food, staff and atmosphere! It a welcome stop of point between Cork & Killarney or visa versa. Wide variety of meats and fish on menu with at least four options on specials board. Great options available on children's menu also. Derserts are delightful and most importantly homemade.

We held a party for 120 people in the Abbey Hotel this weekend for a double family occasion. I can't speak highly enough of the hotel, owners, staff and food. We had a fantastic night and the Creedon Family were absolutely fantastic from start to finish.

We had a double celebration for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and my mother's 80th birthday in the Abbey Hotel this weekend. We had a meal for 120 people and I can't rate the hotel, the Creedon family, their staff and their food highly enough. They were absolutely fantastic from the start when we started planning right through.

We were not expecting too mush when we went here as we went mainly for the live music that they have every Saturday night. However, we also wanted a meal so we ate there. The restaurant looked empty and a bit clinical so we chose to eat in the bar. We ordered goats' cheese brochettes followed by sirloin steak. Both... More

stopped off into this hotel on our travels to Kerry for lunch. It was busy and the service was quick and attentive. The lunch was served promptly and I have to say was really nice. We had the beef dinner which would melt in your mouth it was cooked to perfection. The servings of meat, veg, potatoes gravy were generous... More
