This place used to be unreal
What happened here?
We call in for dinner this evening and service was terrible the hole place smelled like wet dog food was awful really I’m stunned
Please bring this place back to what it was
Such a shame
Absolutely disgusting, ordered a fillet burger with lettuce and mayo, told me they were unable to dress a burger for me because theres side salad, but I didnt let it annoy me too much. When the food came out, the side salad had a small...piece of lettuce, and included nothing suitable for a burger. The only side they offered was chips, and when they came it was like something from mcdonalds. When I took a bite of my burger, the chicken tastes like it had been cooked in the microwave, absolutely disgusting. And to make it worse the waiter had absolutely no manners, was very rude, never said hello or anything and when she came to take our order she literally just stood there and never said a word so I thought there was something wrong. Complete disgrace as I went to this restaurant about 6 years ago and it was very nice at the time, but it must have new owners as it was one of the worst meals and service ive ever had in my lifeMore
Really enjoyed our lunch here. Staff were friendly. Clearly taking careful measures with the Covid situation. Mask for staff, book for customers to leave contact details in case of outbreak and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. Soup tasted great.
we ate here on a day trip to Bundoran it was quite busy and we fount a few tables at the back of the restaurant the floor was like a skating ring nearly fell tables were damp the ceiling looked like it was soaking wet...water was running down the walls not fast but you could see it we ordered our food after quite a wait but it was served quite quickly food was nice but the damp place let it down the place needs a refurbMore
To the Management of The Jolly Farmers,
This was the first time we were in you restaurant on Sunday gone by and was really impressed with everything until the very end and what I saw shocked and surprised me.
My wife and myself stopped to...have some lunch with yourselves on Sunday to be met with some pleasant staff. I asked the young gentleman behind the bar in the white shirt to place an order which he walked off to get one of his colleagues to do it. We were then met by a lovely waitresses I think her name was Claire which when asked about the menu eveything was explained and nothing was a problem.
Everything was lovely, our food, service, atmosphere until we notice that when people came to pay for their meal the gentleman in the white shirt would take there money, give them their change and times tips was handed to him aswell or people would say keep the change for him to put what looked to be other members of the staffs tips into his pocket.
Now both myself and my wife seen how hard these girls were working and pleasing everyone for them then to be thanked by there customers by been given a tip to which the ladies were not getting due to this gentleman. It was hard for us to watch as Im not just talking 2 to 3 pounds worth but at times maybe a 5 euro note was give to him for the tip jar or lady who served him.
I hope that this will be addressed as if I worked there I would not be happy if this happened to me when working with this gentleman.
We hope to revisit yourselves again before we head back home in November as this is a super place to eat.More
As you approach the external impression is very inviting and welcoming but sadly that’s as good as it gets.....
Walked inside to find no customers and after a minute or two the young waitress appeared and assured us that they were open,
The furniture was...a mish mash of pub furniture , and banqueting chairs and all in need of a good clean, the toilets reminded me of a scene out of train spotting, the menus were older than my 3 year old son and tatty and dog eared, the tea came out in a metal tea pot with half an inch of dust on top , the food was ok and reasonably cheap €15 for two full irish, atmosphere was strange with tv on and playing doctor phill while the local radio discussion about being married to a sex addict was being piped through all the speakers. Don’t think I’ll be backMore
This place is an absolute dungeon I would avoid at all costs the food is absolutely disgusting, the service is the worst I have ever had and the toilets aren't fit for purpose. Don't believe the home cooked food signs as it is more than...likely food bought out if Iceland.More
