From the moment we entered this restaurant we had fantastic service. The decor is modern and inviting. We had surf n turf and lamb to eat - both were great. Food was beautifully presented. Good wine list too. After the meal I casually mentioned that we were away for the weekend celebrating a birthday - within a few minutes they... More

Myself and my partner had dinner here on June bank holiday weekend. We had intended to eat in Mount Falcon but did not expect the bar food to end so early there. Brennan's Kane was a blessing in disguise and they accepted our reservation at very short notice. The restaurant decor is very contemporary and made for a really nice... More

I have eaten at this popular Ballina Restaurant on a number of occasions and I have always really enjoyed the experience. Be it just a quick bite, Lunch or A la Carte, the food is just top class and as good if not better than anything I have experienced in some of the European cities I have visited in the... More

Brennan's Lane Restaurant is definitely a good call for food in Ballina. There is a great variety of food on the menu so there should be something to suit everyone including vegetarians and wheat/gluten free diets. There is a separate section for larger parties. Service is efficient. There are two large carparks nearby but very limited parking directly outside. Prices... More

We eat here recently and really enjoyed the food. However the scallop main is much too big.

The wife and I have been in Ireland for about a week, starting in Dublin going up north then to the west. We ate here because it was ranked #1 on TA and it did not let us down. The crab claws were hard to eat, kind of messy, but yummy to the last piece. We both ordered the scallops... More

Recently had lunch here and it was delicious. Lunch was served in the restaurant upstairs which is decieving how big it actually is! It is decorated to a lovely standard and the tables aren't on top of each other so you do have some privacy. There are also plans i was told to add an outdoor seating area too which... More

This restaurant has everything spot on. Great staff, great atmospherse - loved the music selection and great food. We both had pasta for our main it was fab - it has big portion of garlic bread with it too. Would suggest not getting a starter if having the pasta and its is huge.

Description
Brennan’s Lane is in the heart of Ballina, on the evocatively named Garden Street. From outside it looks quite small, but this is deceiving as it stretches way back and is actually huge. It has an almost Tardis quality in the amount of space inside. Downstairs is the bar, where some pretty serious gigs take place while you will find the restaurant on the first floor. The dining room is beautifully designed and features exposed brick walls, cool sofa seats, plenty of well spaced tables and chairs and some interesting art, as well as a series of old style butchers blackboards showing farm animals and the parts the different cuts of meat come from.  The room is long and fairly narrow, but well thought out design means it feels light and airy, and the open plan kitchen at one end adds to the sense of space. It is modern and elegant, warm and inviting. Description from Taste of Ireland by Paolo Tullio
