We had a family meal here and were very pleased with our choice. There is no children's menu, however the staff were happy to combine any ingredients to give our two fussy eaters what they wanted. My wife and I went for the beef. We both got a large fillet which was cooked to perfection. It was served on a... More

The Chart House was a lovely find and has found a good balance in the tasteful layout between gastro pub and restaurant. Good menu with lots of variety ( try the black pudding in filo pastry) and excellent service

The Chart House is centrally located close to the harbour and marina. Four of us arrived for the 'early bird' menu at 7pm. The menu offered a limited choice of starters and main courses. I chose the much vaunted black pudding in filo pastry only to find it soggy and the pudding itself was tasteless. For mains I chose the... More

Simply fantastic meal had in the Chart House. The scallops main course is outstanding but the star of the show was the passion fruit brule - nearly got emotional!

We rang late in the afternoon and were lucky enough to jag a table. I think we sat down at 7 but the wonderful owner, Jim, said we could take advantage of the Early Bird menu if we wanted to. He was a fantastic host with a welcoming smile and made for a memorable meal. We couldn't go past the... More

There is a lovely pub feel when you come in but this is much more than that. There is an excellent menu, pleasantly served in bright comfortable surroundings. The restaurant has won many awards and deserves them! The food presentation was excellent.
