We enjoyed our dinner here, and the pub is very cozy. We had been hoping to hear some music, but it is possible we left too early.

After getting shut out of a highly recommended restaurant (Out of the Blue) on our first night in Dingle, we opted for a pub dinner. We found the John Benny on our stroll around Dingle and were lucky to find a great local pub. The JB has all the essential ingredients: a long and storied local history, friendly staff with... More

Great place to grab a pint and listen to some music, which was awesome. The staff was friendly and the people hanging out there were all having a great time. Everyone was talking to everyone. Walking distance to most B &B's in town. Had a great first night in Dingle.

Good place willing to prepare fish caught on fishing excursion. The restaurant was quite busy the evening we visited and the staff could have been a bit more polite, but the food was very good, the atmosphere fun & located right on the Main Street, and it is the place fishing tours recommend to have your fish prepared if you'd... So glad we got to experience John Benny's Pub on our family trip to Ireland! Staff was very accommodating to the younger ones and had great recommendations for stout/hard cider for the adults. Relaxed atmosphere and family friendly. Shepherds pie - yum! Waiter even spelled our names in Gaelic after the meal. Did not get to experience traditional Irish music... More

Wenr there for dinner and a few drinks. Atmosphere was great, irish music was played live. Food was super nice, we ordered the bacon and liver together and the fish pie. Affordable food and very tasty. The Staff was very nice too.

The fish is superb and the beer cold. Great for an evening out for dinner and music. Table are a bit close together unless you get a booth at the entrance but it's all good fun as you get to talk to other visitors and share experiences.

When our recommended eateries were packed, we ended up at John Benny's- and so glad we did! They had a great menu (vegetarian friendly), quick and friendly service, and out of this world carrot cake dessert! I highly recommend eating here during your stay!

My wife and I had a great lunch of fish and chips and of course a Guinness. The inside is what u would expect of an quaint Irish pub. We loved it and would recommend eating here, the food tasty and comes out very fast as well a reasonably priced. Oh, the Irish coffee is very, very good!
