We were really disappointed with John Benny's. We were two couples. When we walked in, everyone quit talking and stared at us as we found perches in the tiny space. It was like something out of an old Western when a stranger dared to enter the saloon. Cue the music. This made it extremely uncomfortable to even stay there. The... More

I think that theres a good chance you may be confusing us with someplace else . "Teeny- Tiny " ? This is a big place with lots of seating and tables so maybe check before writing - just a suggestion !! More

We ate here a couple of times when we were in Dingle and had good food both times. The service was a little slow but that's probably because it was crowded when we went. Lots of people stop in as they are walking around town. Definitely worth a stop!

We stepped in as we walked through Dingle and stayed the whole evening. Good choice of pub food and awesome homemade desert, good beer, friendly staff and live music. What more do you want? :-)

Great home cooked food with generous portions. food was piping hot. The chowder was a firm winner with the family and was certainly something you could have as a main course! The service was quick and meal reasonably priced. Approx €30pp. For 2 courses and wine. Great, friendly staff. Live music. we would defiantly go back.

My friends and I stopped in here for a quick drink after walking one of the tracks. The pub had such a lovely atmosphere, with great staff, good drinks and a cozy fire. Stayed for more then the one that was planned for sure. Can't wait to visit again.

We visited Dingle off-season and this pub was the quietest I've ever seen it. Unually in high season it's packed. Three of us enjoyed dinners of salmon and venison, served by a chatty friendly barman. It was as good as any meal I've eaten here in the past and is recommended.

After a long, cold, rainy walk around town we needed some food and drinks. Randomly picked John Benny's and I am so glad that we did. Live music was playing and the pub was busy but not crazy packed. We were able to find seats at the bar. The music was nice and at a perfect level. Not too quiet... More

Great Irish pub in the heart of Dingle. The staff are the most welcoming and friendly, great food, music and atmosphere. Don't past through Dingle without paying a visit : )

We enjoyed our dinner here, and the pub is very cozy. We had been hoping to hear some music, but it is possible we left too early.

After getting shut out of a highly recommended restaurant (Out of the Blue) on our first night in Dingle, we opted for a pub dinner. We found the John Benny on our stroll around Dingle and were lucky to find a great local pub. The JB has all the essential ingredients: a long and storied local history, friendly staff with... More
