This resturant is just beautiful. I had scallops . They were cooked to perfection and I was presented with a plateful of these beautiful shellfish. 10 out of 10 for flavour, presentation and the quantity. You must visit this resturant when you are in Kenmare.

Spotted the crab claws on the menu so had to go! They were excellent as were the other dishes we chose. Very cosy restaurant in a great location back off the road. Nicely decorated. Lovely friendly staff. A must visit in Kenmare 👏

We ate hear on recommendation from our rental proprietor and she was not wrong. The surroundings are very quirky as this is a very old building with lots of history. The food was very high standard and piping hot, I can recommend the sea bass...More

The Lime Tree is recognised as Kenmare's landmark restaurant. Housed in a beautiful building dating back to 1832, the food and service continues to win accolades and many new customers. The quality ingredients are sourced locally and then carefully prepared with passion. Fish from the cleanest waters in Europe is delivered daily and lamb is provided by the local farmer. Simple caring preparation ensures tasty food. The service is friendly and efficient with an emphasis on value for money in an informal manner.
