A long drive to the Maharees on a cold March evening was worth just to have the crab claws which are simply divine especially with the local Dingle Gin. The service was great with the staff incredibly friendly and attentive. Looking forward to the next visit !

Haven't been to this restaurant in years and decided to visit on a recent weekend away in Kerry . As per usual the food was really nice and the staff were friendly and more than helpful . They also still did their delicious ice cream cones which was a bonus too

I had the crabs claws and brown bread and salad. It was delicious and you could have it as a starter which I did or a main course. My firned had a white fish and veg and potatoes and was pleased, very tasty too. Nice atmosphere too

Our first visit goes back over 30 years. Our daughter has always loved "our special table" there when we've visited many times over the years. The food is delicious and very fresh. We've always gone to the Dingle Peninsula slightly off season (Easter, autumn) to avoid the crowds, so we've always been seated promptly. Just the ride to the pub... More

Lovely atmosphere in this restaurant, good food, value and service. Our waitress was extremely friendly and great with the kids. She gave them extra helpings of ice-cream and didn't charge for it! Lovely touch and quite rare I must admit. Location is of course amazing 😊

This is a place you need to plan to visit as you are unlikely to get a table in peak season without a reservation. Varied menu, excellent food, a little pricey but worth it. Lovely atmosphere and equally enjoyable to stop in for a coffee or a pint as it is to eat there. Look forward to returning as we... More

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat in Castlegregory, but since it's not in season, they were all closed. So, we went to Spillane's Bar for dinner. My wife had the Hake wife mixed vegetables and mash potatoes. She really enjoyed it! I, myself had the Garganelli Pasta. I thought it was delicious! Both the deserts... More

Following the reviews here, decided to give it a try. We're very fortunate to get a booking just after opening...and it was packed! Very family-friendly, with helpful, friendly and attentive staff. We all ordered off the specials board, and everything was very well presented and cooked beautifully. While there is a lot of seafood on offer (including an impressive seafood... More

Drove across from Brandon to have evening meal and very pleased that we did. A pub serving really great shellfish and fish main courses. The Mussels starter was delicious and lots of them ! My wife had the crab claws in garlic butter - superb. The main fish courses were lovely but we found the portions very large following such... More
