Good food and not so oily. Unfortunate we cannot eat seafood due to allergies but the plates are beautiful. Am not a fan of fish but we ordered grilled fish and grilled chicken which were awesome We had a small issue with the starter and same was changed and offered some additional pieces Waiter are very polite and attentive. We visited this Restaurant because of the good write ups on TripAdvisor and we weren't disappointed. From our walk up the path to the restaurant it was the most beautiful setting and what followed was even more impressive. The food, service and surroundings were of the highest quality. The owner even took time out to chat to us about his... More
I found this restaurant by accident. I had been out deep sea fishing ( very successful on Lady Diana ) and was asked if I minded that we go home via the fish factory. This restaurant is owned by two brothers who also own the factory. It specialises in seafood and is excellent. Not easy to get to as it... More
Finding this place is somewhat of a challenge and google maps doesn't even give you the correct location. Once you find it however, it is worth the wait. It is located in a small complex of its own within huge grounds that surround the restaurant. The fish and seafood is brought to you before you order so that they let... More
Went there completely by chance , no regrets . Really off the road location but worth it . Nice farm and vegetable garden in backyard . Price quite high , but the food quantity and quality was value for money . Those interested in vintage photographs of Mauritius would be really pleased there .
Wife and I have visited on a couple of occasions, both dinner and lunch, and haven't been disappointed. Slightly off road but well worth the visit, especially if you're in the north of the island
My husband & I held our wedding reception at Réve D'R in December 2015 and happily we can say it was a success. The staff/management were great. Professional, courteous & friendly. Well organised & more than happy to assist with all our requests. Our guests loved the beautiful setting and thought the food was great. We would gladly recommend as... More
I had lunch here as an inclusive part of a tour organized through Mauritours. I dined alone in an empty restaurant set in fabulous grounds. Lovely food. Impeccable service.Way, way over my usual fare. I took time to thank le Patron and he was charming. I would really have loved the opportunity to go again and select my own meal,preferably... More
This restaurant is difficult to find but worth the search. The setting is magnificent, the service 5 star and the food delectable! We enjoyed the food so much that we ate there twice during our holiday. The starters are subtle and for mains we had Dorado fillet and Tune steak - both cooked to perfection. The wine list is very...
