Had a few fab curry’s from here over the past few weeks at the weekend. We had the same as always today (a Tuesday) but for some reason the curry was a completely different colour, had half the normal amount of chicken in, and tasted...extremely bland. We normally are given a few popadoms to go with it to but didn’t get those either. Very disappointed for my birthday treat, rang up to check it was the correct order for us but was fobbed of with ‘yes it’s just a different colour today’ 🤷‍♀️ Shame as we were really enjoying a weekend curry. We may as well have cooked a jar or shop bought korma.More

Had another great meal from our favourite curry restaurant. Takeaway due to restrictions but well worth it. Portion sizes are very generous and lots of choice. Definitely will be ordering again.

My partner and I have ordered takeaway a few times, and have tried both the indian food as well as the carvery. Safe to say we have been very impressed with the quality - the food was lovely, the portions were generous, it arrived early...and we couldn't fault the service. Would definitely recommend!More

Now an Indian and due to covid only take away service at the moment, really varied menu to suit all tastes, easy to order online, very friendly staff on collection and the food was excellent, ordered quite a wide selection to feed the family and...all of it was delicious, portion size good, reasonable price, shall defiantly be going back for more.More

Excellent Indian food at a reasonable price. We have eaten in, and more recently had takeaways due to Covid.

The new curry house at The Queens Head is very good. We had a varied selection of dishes, which were all delivered quickly and tasted fresh and spicy. Service was friendly, if a bit tentative, which perhaps was because of the recent change of ownership....Really well worth a try.More

My husband & I and our 2friends had a meal at the queens head inn and what a meal it was too.We all came out feeling so full because the food was so delicious we didn't want to leave anything. It is no longer a...carvery pub it's an Indian restaurant and if you like curry you will not be disappointed. From the moment we walked in the staff were very helpful and we are already planning on going again.very soon.More

Shocking experience - the staff were rude and uncooperative. The food was well below average. Tasteless roast potatoes, crackling wasn't even crackly and meat was tough. Veg was rock hard and Yorkshire puds tasted like charcoal. Would never go there again - the worst pub/restaurant...experience I've ever encountered.More

The Queen Head needs to return to a drinkers pub as well as an eatery. The pub is certainly large enough to partition off for non eaters and eaters alike. I used to be a regular drinker at this pub which was a friendly family...pub. 2 managers later and still no change, this is just my view.More

There's a carvery every day and also what they like to call "Pensioners Perks", This is a carvery and sweet for £8.95. which is not available on Saturdays. The carvery is £8.95 and worth every penny
