Had a wonderful trip, well worth a visit when in bakewell, ordered afternoon tea and we were in for a treat! 3 types of cake plus scone and sandwiches!! Great stuff, all homemade and fresh, could have done with another pot of tea, only downside.

As soon as we we entered the cafe the older lady behind the counter barked at us that they were not serving food but were still doing cakes. As we only wanted a drink and cake that suited us fine. We found a table and my husband went to check if they had gluten free cake as I am a... More

A great little place and a bit of a hidden gem. Great service, lovely food and a place that we keep coming back to again and again. I can recommend the sandwiches and the cream teas. My grandma loves this place

A lovely quaint little tea rooms. Staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. Food and drinks are delicious. Good selection on menu, reasonable prices. Been twice now and will definitely return when in the area. Also recommended to lots of friends! 😆

On a dreary wet day in Bakewell we decided to have a snack in this delightfully decorated tearoom. Ordered the afternoon tea which kept us going all day. Beautifully presented and a real treat.

Visited when in Bakewell. I was looking for a traditional 'English' Afternoon tea and this was terrific. I can't remember the name of what we ordered, however it was 15 pounds per person and was great. We got Tea (pot was replenished as much as we wanted) heaps of sandwiches properly cut without crusts into triangles, cakes, a Bakewell tart... More

We were in the area and after searching for a nice traditional tea room we came along lavender tea rooms. It's quite small, we sat downstairs, there is an upstairs but don't know how big this is. We ordered a sandwich and cream teas. Food was nice, I was surprised it was tea bags in the pot rather than the... More
