Food always fabulous quality and served piping hot it's not the full menu on a Sunday but what... More

My partner and I have had been here a few times for sunday dinner and it has been well worth it every time. The food is lovely, admittedly we've never strayed from the lamb with redcurrant stuffing dinner - it's the best around - and for just under £9 it's a steal. I will warn you that on a Sunday... We accepted the automatic booking of a table within the restaurant when staying in one of the rooms with a little caution as we thought the prices would be way out of our price range. One of the chefs was an award winner at one... More

We turned up without a booking and were found a pleasant table on a quiet night. We had a cheap earlybird meal, a couple of pints of good local brew and three glasses of wine for just over £40!

We went in a party of three, had three different starters and three different mains. Each one was beautifully presented and tasted even better. This was the third time that we had eaten there and have always enjoyed our meal and the surroundings: the friendly staff are an added bonus. I asked for a jug of tap water and was... More

this was just a quick stopover on our way to Buxton, we hadn't anticipated how busy it would be. The winter warmer deal they currently have on is excellent value, and explains the crowds, but there was still room in the bar for us and we had an excellent sandwich and very fast service. Excellent stopping point, very popular with... More
