A really great roast beef and yorkshire pudding, the best Sunday roast in ages. Good beer too. Lovely play area for the kids. Feels like what pubs used to be like.

Delicious home made burgers with great friendly service from new waiter Louis. A lovely relaxing way to start our weekend in the perfect country pub. Proud to call it our local.

Four of us just had an excellent meal at the Dog & Fox. We’ve eaten there before from their Daily Menu of very good straightforward dishes, well cooked - Wiltshire ham egg & chips; steaks; homemade pies, etc. But they also have an extremely good...More

This pub has only one drawback it does not offer food every night. The 'chef's specials' menu compliments the standard pub fare with the likes of whitebait and the killer 'baked Camembert', along with mains Scottish Muscles and Salmon Wellington. We even got a free...More

We visited the Dog & Fox purely by chance when searching for places to eat near where we were staying And we were so lucky, one of the nicest meals I've ever had and in a "real pub" environment. The owners and the staff were...More

Myself and my partner popped up to the dog and fox for a few drinks on a nice summer evening last week! After an hour in the lovely garden we decided to go inside as it was getting chilly! We were debating what to do...More

Such a pleasure to eat in a Pub that still feels like a Pub rather than a restaurant. Great relaxed atmosphere. Food was good and honest home cooking rather than the pretentious stuff you get in a lot of the so called gastro pubs nowadays....More

Dear Brendanfms, many thanks for your kind review. I don't know what time you came to the Dog and Fox but the waitresses all start the shift looking presentable. A busy shift can leave some looking a bit dishevelled. However, your comments about the food...More

A classic English pub situated on the edge of the delightful town of Bradford on Avon - just where the town meets the lovely Wiltshire countryside. The pub is within 1 mile of the centre of the town and it is an ideal place to start or finish a walk. The Dog and Fox is known for it's good pub fare as well as traditional draught beers, ciders, lagers and good range of wines. The Garden is a favourite with children and the pub is dog friendly.
