Visited the Queen Anne the weekend of 22-23 April. In the 3 pubs I frequent in my home town of Holmfirth a pint of lime and soda is 65p, 85p and £1.00 respectively. The same at the Queen Anne was £2.00 which indicates to me that non-alcohol drinkers are unwelcome.

We stayed here for one night while visiting family in the area. Small but comfortable room with everything you need. We had a delicious steak dinner in the bar and a proper "full english" the following morning (coffee could be better). Excellent value for money

Stayed while working in the area, and would highly recommend. Accommodation was great and food was delicious. Breakfast included, is also lovely and plentiful. Owners very hospitable and great to chat to. Overall a great stay, thanks.

Enjoyed impromptu lunch at this Homely traditional pub in small village with genuinely home cooked food. Nice wood burner on the go giving warm comfortable feel. Haddock and chips were fresh and fairly priced. Children's fish fingers were battered pieces of fresh haddock rather than the usual birds eye from the freezer type usually expected. Would recommend and would go... More

Plenty of tea and coffee and lovely biscuits. The staff were very helpful and polite. They made us feel very relaxed and welcome. The food is lovely... More

We came across this pub while travelling around but had missed our turning. Being it was lunch time we thought we would see what it was like, we were greeted by a lady who directed us into the main area which had a lovely roaring log fire. Even though it was just before 2 o/clock when meals stop they let... More

If you like that "Local pub" feel, then this is the pub for you. Real ale where the land lord is only too happy to top it up for without having to ask.

Visited during a walking weekend. Sorry I can't comment on the interior decor as I let the other guys wait on me as I sat outside. Being mid-walk I thought I would order something small and simple: a fish finger sandwich. But it was amazing. Lovely fresh bread and home-made fingers of fresh haddock in a light batter. Also a...
