My husband and I had dinner here one night after it was highly recommended in our travel book. The outside is very pretty, like an old Spanish home, and looks out to the malecon in Esperanza. By far the nicest restaurant in town, but be...More

Their version of lobster Mofongo was lower in fat than the usual island version (which I also like). Very nice setting and excellent, attentive service. Setting and prices consistent with upscale restaurant in a metro area, but with the ocean a few steps away and...More

A few friends that had been to Vieques highly recommended El Quenepo, so we decided to give it a try. From an ambience perspective, it seemed to be one of the nicest restaurants on the island that wasn't part of a resort. Very nice decor,...More

Vieques has so much to offer. For a wonderful, white table cloth dinner with impecable service and great food I reccomend El Quenepo. We went the first week of the season for the first time. We left full, happy and with new friends.

Our first visit to Vieques. We were excited to hear that El Quenepo was going to reopen for during our trip. We decided to eat there on opening night. Food was excellent and the service was very attentive.

El Quenepo served up well presented, good food that was neither better nor worse than the norm for Vieques. It's pricey (though to be expected), and fancy yet fairly chill, but it's nothing extraordinary. The fish was good, though that's the status quo for Vieques...More
