This is our second visit to Assiette Champenoise ...What a great restaurant ! We had a drink in the bar before dinner. Champagne came out a magnum bottle, the nibbles were 1st class: Pate en croute, foie gras tartelettes, parmesan puff, john Dory cakes - delicious. The dining room is contempory and airy, tables are nicely spaced and the lighting is particularly deft. For starters we had scallops with beetroot and a caviar quenelle with haddock mousse. Mains were poularde with artichokes and venison served 3 different ways. Everything was simply exceptional. Having opted not to have dessert, we were presented with all sorts of gourmandises with our herbal tea: mini cannelés gloriously light, creme brulée tartelettes, pates de fruits and marrons glacés, chocolates and lollies . Of special note the absolutely delicious bread made locally with a 30 years old yeast. The service was well judged, timed to perfection, discret and yet charming. All in all a fabulous experience.

My first 3 Michelin star dining experience and I will never forget it. Not just a highlight of my France trip but a life highlight and the most perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday. A 3.5 hour dinner that started with drinks in their garden and ended with coffee and tea back in the garden. We had the Emotion chef's whim 10 course tasting menu, but with the mise amuse-bouche, surprise dishes and multiple presentations within each course we completely lost count of how many courses were actually served. The service was exceptional. Every single person, including the chef who came out to say hello and goodbye, was lovely and attentive. Every detail seems to have been meticulously curated and I appreciated it from beginning to end.

A fantastic and tasty meal in the heart of champagne. This was our 3rd 3 star meal in 3 weeks so I tempered my expectations. I shouldn’t have. The tasting menu started off with the most delicious amise bouches and kept getting better and hitting a crescendo with its caviar potato dish. Absolutely flawless from food to service. Bravo.

It’s not the first time I enjoy the experience at l’assiette champenoise, In fact I wanted to share why I really like this restaurant. what is so great and making the experience so enjoyable is from the start when we arrived, the valet parking taking the car, then entering the hotel where you see smiling face welcoming you at reception, and then chef Arnaud welcoming as well the guests, make it so personal, I felt really well taken care of and welcomed to enjoy a great experience. Of course the menu is top notch and every dish had an exceptional taste. The pre-dessert and dessert are out of this world! this is my favorite among all the restaurants I’ve been to. The courtesy and welcoming professional staff along with a great cuisine makes this restaurant one of the best if not the best restaurant !! Will definitely keep on coming to enjoy the great experience!!

Hum, okay, it came with high expectations. The room itself is very elegant. The staff is a 50/50... Great guy serving us, very grumpy Sommelier despite having bought a very expensive (for my standards) bottle of wine. Food wise... Frankly, we did not see the quality or the innovation required to justify 3 michelin stars. Good food, but plain. It was lunch, their 155 euro standard menu, for information (which is not that expensive in such setting). Maybe if you spend more, you get more

I booked this hotel for a special occasion with my wife to treat her to the acclaimed restaurant. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and wanted to have lunch and then dinner later that evening. We were asked if we had made reservations for either. We told them we were staying in the hotel, tough luck , the restaurant is fully booked. I complained that as a resident of the hotel we expected a restaurant as advertised for hotel guests. They shipped us off to downtown Reims to figure things out ourselves at the local cafes. With regards to dinner they said you can always order room service. Disgraceful , they seem to care more about local bookings more than hotel guest. Rooms are nice , but the experience was completed spoilt, so unless you want an expensive bed and breakfast with no restaurant I would say don't book here as they haven't figured out hospitality at the five star level.

Really exceptional 3* Michelin restaurant, good balance of many courses, creative and lovely food, but also getting on with the meal and responding to requests/needs of guests. Food was really sublime. Good suggestion of a delicious champagne. Modern interior but pleasant. However, in 2022 there is no excuse for giving women menus with no prices. Women in France got the vote in 1944. And how do they know I'm not the one paying the bill? How difficult and embarrassing it would be if I were entertaining a client or other guest. NOT OK FOLKS.

This was an extraordinary experience to top off our visit to Champagne! I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this lunch. The food was an explosion of flavors for our taste buds and an experience that was well worth the extra time it took to walk from the Cathedral. About a mile and a half walk. Started with champagne and amuse bushe in the lounge. Then, moved to the upstairs dining room for the appetizer and main courses, and finished with cafe on the terrace. Loved how we were able enjoy different settings with our delicious meal. Thank you Chef Lollamente and the service staff for an afternoon we will never forget!

Amazing food, amazing service.... My wife and I stayed at the hotel 3 nights and also did a dinner on one of the nights. It could not have been a better experience. All the staff was welcoming and warm. A family owned/operated restaurant, you can really feel the passion and the commitment to hoping you have the very best culinary experience possible. Plan early so you can get a reservation!

Fantastic restaurant and fanstastic food. Really worth the 3 stars and the price (€2300 for 4 incl some reasonable wines). Lovely modernost style of restaurant; great ambiance; outstanding, friendly service which really added to the experience. Every dish of the 9 course (€395) tasting menu was delicious apart from the beef which a. had a strange sauce oncl elderflower and b, the beef wwas too chewy! Apart from that, everything was excellent. Would love to go back

If Michelin could award 4 stars this fine restaurant would merit it. One of the finest dining experiences my wife and I have ever enjoyed. Flavors tastes and textures are all unique for each plate. Each course was better than the next. Service was polished and personal.

This was our 4th stay at assiette champenoise, near Reims, and we will be back. The hotel bit is very nice with ultra comfortable bed and lots of pillows, and do not miss the swimming pool. The food is spectacular. We had smoked haddock and Brittany lobster, veal sweetbread and squab. The wine recommendation was less than perfect but we had a wonderful meal. M Lallemand never fails to go round the tables but unlike some of his peers it feel very genuine.

Once we had found it, Sat nav took us past it 5 times! We were delighted by everything about this hotel and restaurant. Staff were charming. Our room was huge. Did my 10,000 steps getting dressed in the morning! We had the ‘surprise’ tasting menu, with the champagne pairing, which was exquisite. Excellent ingredients cooked to reveal their true taste. Obviously, expensive but worth every penny! Booking essential as they close during the week during the winter, not sure about the rest of the year. Can’t wait to return there next year on our annual trip through France.

Looking for a hotel, when travelling from the south, to the north of France, the L'Assiette Champenoise looks like it ticks all the boxes but don't be fooled. It's over priced, pretension and opinionated staff, who clearly think they are doing you a favour. Do yourself and your pocket a favour, and drive right past.

Evening started with a cocktail overlooking the garden, which was a very relaxing way to start the meal. Excellent food and service. Exquisite presentation, including even the bread we would be served. Servers were friendly and professional and would engage with us. Chef and owner greeted guests and chatted. Attention to detail, yet also comfortable. Try the tomato dish; it is fantastic.
