Lohengrin is the safe place to eat in Remich but perhaps not the most exciting. It is located inside Hotel Saint Nicolas on the Esplanade with a great view of the Mosel. The interior of the restaurant was redecorated a few years ago and is very nice and probably the best in town but the food has for many years... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 October 2016 via mobile

We spent a couple of hours enjoying the refined food at the Hotel St Nicholas' restaurant while taking in the splendid view overlooking the Moselle river in Remich. Along with the great service came the warm welcome from the owner and his staff.

I have visited the St. Nicholas many times for Sunday lunch, and it's now a little time capsule of how things used to be. Sunday sees a mixture of comfortably retired Luxemburgers with their children and people touring in the region sitting down to a serous three hour meal. The dining room has a long window overlooking the Moselle, and... More

Really enjoyed the food here. The wine they serve ranges from good to excellent and the little amuses can be small works of art. Portions are good and though a bit on the pricey side, you still get value for money.

A bit outdated hotel and restaurant, but with good food, a nice range of excellent local wines and mid-ranged prices

we were here for lunch on a Sunday. we ordered a main dish, sole meunière for 32 €. the fish was good, but the accompaniement was very scarce: two very small boiled potatopes and a few leaves of salad that arrived when we were finished. We had to take cheese and a dessert in order not to exit hungry. We... More

The last night we had a delicious dinner in the “Lohengrin” restaurant. The views there are really nice as you can see the river from the dining room. Staff I must say was very friendly and helpful. I’ll go back there for sure again, maybe with my girlfriend for a romantic dinner.

We went to this restaurant as we were in Remich and wanted some traditional Luxembourgish food. As we had not ordered a table we went for a walk until they had arranged a table for us. The restaurant was semi busy and 3 waiters working. The way especially on waiter worked, was to say at least bad , if not... More

We had lunch Started with carpaccio of scallops with truffel (19€) Then chose the Truite Menière (32€) Both were delicious. The food is delicious but on the pricy side. Service was formal and impeccable. We had a great time.

Dinner was over priced and the male waiter we had was extremely rude and unfriendly. The cream of asparagus soup was mostly butter and cream with no discernible asparagus taste. My husband had a very tender steak that was extremely tasty but that was the highlight. The wine list is filled with extremely expensive wines and very little that is... More
