Beautiful prawn rolls, crispy salt and pepper spare rib, spicy pork with vermicelli north style. Great website has pics of meals. Dinner for two, less than $50

There are so many Vietnamese and Asian restaurants around this area and this makes it so hard to choose a good one. Thien An is in a central position, opposite the railway station. It presents as a modest and clean restaurant but the food and service are honest and well priced. The pho was filling and full of traditional flavour... More

This place is big, clean but can get noisy when busy. I love number 74. Stir-fried Rice noodles or Egg noodles with vegetables and tofu (v) $15. Big serves. I suggest you also try the pancakes, they can feed two people. Every table has a thermos of tea. Staff can struggle with English but very friendly. Waiting time is average... More

I have always lived in Footscray and it takes a lot for me to venture out to try something new. But did not regret the experience one bit. We ordered a mixture of items to share but each dish was better than the other. The quails are highly recommended. Prices are fair and service great. Will definitely be visiting this... More

Very nice food, have 4 dishes, all very good. Had mulled wine - great to see someone serving this - in this cold weather. Partner had iced coffee with baileys, again very good. Friendly staff. Food so good took some home to finish tomorrow.

I love the lemongrass and chilli chicken! You can have large or smaller sizes. Rice paper rolls are also fresh and delicious. Quick service, but it does get busy and noisy.

This place is a rip-off. It proudly states on the door that it takes debit/credit cards, then refused mine because the bill was under $30. When I queried this I was shown a minute sign sitting on the counter, way out of sight of my table and only to be seen when I went to pay the bill. I was... More

Food was excessively salty and filet beef dish, as recommended by waitress, was inedible. When it was suggested they remove the cost of the rubber beef dish from the bill, gave us half price?? For something that we couldn't and didn't eat? Wow, its not like there are 30 other Vietnamese restaurants around the corner. We live close by and... More

Several visits and never disappoints. Huy and his staff are attentive without being over the top and the South Vietnamese menu has something for everyone. A well laid out and spacious restaurant, perhaps unusual for an Asian restaurant, is beautifully decorated. Pho is very filling and the Salt n Pepper Octopus is a favourite dish. Well worth a visit and... More
