We did not know what to expect from the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress asked if we had visited the restaurant before (no) and then explained that the menu was divided into smaller plates and larger portions. She recommended that for two we...More

To call this place fine dining is a stretch, sure it has the setting, but the service and quality is far from fine dining. First of all we'd booked a table for 7:45, we arrived early and decided to have a drink on the veranda...More

Went here for dinner with a group and really enjoyed it. Interesting French-Asian fusion flavors, more complex than what I would have expected for a small wine country inn. I got the clams and chorizo special which was delicious. Food was beautifully presented, with great...More

This review only covers the restaurant. I thought the food quality was absolutely excellent. Every dish we ordered was exceptional. That is the end of the praise. The service was quite amateurish. Most of the staff are early 20-somethings who clearly have not received any...More

We've only gone for dinner. The restaurant the nicest decor in the Santa Ynez Valley. The food is excellent, the disappointment is there is no rhyme or reason to how the food comes out and often all at one time. One main course order of...More

This is a great place for small groups since all dishes are for sharing and each dish has special flavors. The pork belly, sliders, duck breast and garlic noodles all have a great combination of flavors.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always freshly made with local ingredients that are in season with love and care. They never disappoint. I have been coming here for years to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries and I will continue to do so.

This was one of our best meals on a trip to "sideways" country. The Hamachi is terrific as was the duck and steak. The only downside was that as the evening progressed a very large group came in and it was very noisy. However, when...More

I would think so if you booked enough in advance. There was quite a large group there the night we were there--makes for a noisy evening, though.
