I can easily get authentic Korean food at cheaper prices back where I'm from, but we seem to eat here every time we are in Langkawi. I'm pretty sure we always go back because of the great service:D
Great food, very tasty and very generous portions.
Order less than you think you'll need! The service staff are very helpful, recommending dishes made in-store over some of their mass-produced offerings to cater to people used to those, explaining dishes if needed. They routinely check if our drinks and side dishes are topped up, offered us complementary ice cream and generally ensuring everyone was happy.
The owner herself was very friendly and personally brought everyone at the restaurant a free drink to try and top up our side dishes.
Definitely eating here again (and again) if we go back to Langkawi.

The food is good and the waiters are very attentive to clients, always advising what to eat.
We went there for lunch and there was no problem for gettting a table for two, but at dinner time they told us that normaly is very crowded, so you should go early or late in the evening to avoid waiting. The Korean dishes are a nice alternative for those looking for a different taste experience.

Specialities from South Korea served by a very attentive team. De well-being of de customer‘s is in de center, waiters even pas by to spray water on your skin to cool down in the hot Climate of Langkawi. Dishes come with free ice water and a scoop of ice afterwards. The quality of the food is great and comes at affordable prices. There is a parkinglot in front and seething is either in- or outside.

I've been travelling with my family now for 3 weeks and and this was one of the best restaurants we went to by far. We started the experience by meeting the extremely friendly staff who were all willing to accommodate for all our needs. Our waiter was funny, kept cracking jokes and kept us all laughing the entire night. They recommended great food which was delivered quickly and tasted delicious. My children felt more than comfortable in this pleasant and enjoyable environment due to the friendly staff and family friendly vibe. All in all, Haroo exceeded our expectations by a mile and this is a place i could easily recommend to groups of all sizes and ages... I may even consider another trip to Malaysia just for this place

Thank you very much for an amazing experience! The food was excellent, the service was flawless and the staff so friendly and easygoing - they made us laugh and enjoy the evening even more! About the food: we ordered chicken dumplings for a starter, beef bulgogi and chicken bokeum for main dishes. Beside those the restaurant served us three small complimentary side dishes (kimchi, korean omelette and scallion pancake) and complimentary desserts (icecream and a refreshing sweet dessert drink/juice) free of charge. All dishes were prepared and served with authentic korean style and tasted so goooood! And the pricing was ridiculously low! We left with our bellies full and a wide smile on our faces. We highly recommend this restaurant for food-enthusiasts like us :)

Had dinner there with my partner, the Korean waiter was very informative and entertaining. He gave us suggestions on what was good and most popular. We went with his suggestions and the dishes were delicious. The female owner was lovely as well she was cooking the meals as well as serving the food. At the end of the meal we got a complimentary scoop of ice cream and a drink, not sure what the drink was but it was served in a champagne glass and tasted like ribena. Overall it was a really fun experience.

All aspects were very good at this place. Great food, fantastic staff and a good location (very convenient for where we were staying). It was a hot lunchtime so being greeted with cold ice water was awesome then some excellent recommendations for the food was very beneficial. It is cash only so when we were short on cash for the service charge, they were more than happy for us to walk to an atm to return with the remainder later on. It’s a bit of a trek so come with enough to enjoy the awesome food! Some complimentary ice cream topped off a wonderful dining experience!

This place was unreal! I read reviews thought people were being dramatic, but this was soooo good, I really loved this place we had this salad as main dish it was unreal. the chef was so kind she came around and gave us ice cream after and kept checking on our food. the old waiter gives you great recommendations for food honestly just great

Serving all kinds of Korean dishes, and each one just wonderful. Meals are prepared by the proprietress, and carry that homemade feeling whilst being presented delicately.
The head waiter/maitre makes sure the level of service is better than most restaurants, and happily gives advice on anything.
Give it a try! Cash only.

Who ever gives this restaurant a bad review was just having a bad day in general!!
The Malaysian manager was just a breathe of fresh air, knowledge of the menu was second to none, recommendations on food and portions we're spot on. Attention to detail on service and quality of food in a country famous for cuisine/dining was outstanding. Ate here the first night and glad we did have us not only a great first experience but local knowledge to help us carve out our next four days.
Highly recommend 😗👌🏼 Salad, chili beef and chicken dumplings washed down with Korean beers 🤤

So having read the reviews we caught a Grab to this restaurant and from the first minute the place was delightful.
The Host was so welcoming and helpful, we told him we had never been to a Korean restaurant before and he patiently talked us through the menu - he even advised us when we had ordered to much! They serve alcohol as well.
The food was wonderful, only matched by the service and atmosphere! All at a reasonable price too.
Great job.
Give it a try.
You will not be disappointed!

I have read all the glowing reviews and after experiencing the place I would say that this restaurant is highly overrated as I had a bowl of “seafood noodles” with 2 prawns and a few shellfish with non existent contents and my wife had essentially a basic goreng total price 120myr with a couple of alcoholic drinks.
Totally overrated much better to go to the smaller restaurants where the food is less than half the price with actual meat/seafood/vegetables content etc for my money.
Left this place hungry! Will never go back.

The only place in Langkawi, where we have eaten a meal more than once. Bibimbap was great, fried squid was melting in the mouth as well. Servers there are enjoying their work, as we got recommendations for meals there (and not necessarily for the most expensive ones), lots of tips, what to do in an island, various sincere and not primitive jokes and so much more. Enjoy it there!

We are regular customers of both Haroo in Pantai Tengah and Haroo in Kuah town at Langkawi Fair mall. High quality of the food, amazing choice and service. I’d definitely recommend for a visit to those who is fussy about the places where they eat

I have no idea what is the hype. Went there since opposite our hotel. Pricey for citron drink RM 10 per smallglass. The side dishes(banchan) seems shrunk and it looks different from the rest of the pictures posted. We ordered gunmandu and beef platter and both are too salty and oily. It cost us rm115 for 2 pax (another 10% for service charge) Would not come again. I gave Additional stars for the staff service only. The rest Meh...i rather go nearby Nook Aloft for the meal with good ambience and they having promo 10% discount.
