Deception is the word. We had high expectations based on tripadvisor's reviews. The first impression, upon entering and being seated, was even better. The decoration, the willingness of the waitresses, the whole vibe of the place seemed to indicate that we had made an exceptional...choice. All went well until one of us - incidentally me - was served the chosen dish - a stir-fried crab (I don't recall the rest). The dish consisted of a number of crab arms and claws dipped (I should say submerged) in a Thai sauce (with coconut oil and spices, I guess). The problem is that in order to eat the meat you had to brake and separate the shellfish shell, by hand and with sauce dripping all over the place. After the first attempts, resorting to my fingers and a fork, I asked for a plier. The plier was a little better but still impossible to eat crab meat without getting all messy (and stains on clothes). I had to give up. As I was hungry, situation worsened by the unsuccessful attempts to eat some grams of crab meat, I asked for another dish, this time more eatable (fried rice with shrimps), which was OK. In the end, to my surprise, they charged me the crab. I ask for the waitress and after some debate, she told me if I didn't pay it would be deducted from their wages. There seem to be no one in charge, other than the waitresses to whom I could complain. I finally gave up, sorry for the waitresses and paid for that dish (and the others). I asked them to take away that dish from the menu (or at least warn the clients about the extreme difficulty in cracking the shellfish). They said that they would do so in the future. I'm not so sure. Summing up, deception is the word. I cannot understand how can they sell a dish that for common people (like me) is impossible to eat without getting all messy with oil and so.More
