Absolutely the most charming location with excellent food, great service and very reasonable menu prices. Sat for hours enjoying the cool breeze and view of the lagoon. Serene and comfortable. Very friendly non-pushy staff. Lots of parking spaces. The prawn tempura was to die for.

Two years ago (October 2018) I was staying in the area working on a boat being built. I went here on a Sunday Afternoon (I was the only one there and dint realize how rare that is). I sat down by myself and ordered a...Red Curry. I asked for it to be very spicy. They asked if I was sure and took the order. The food was amazing, and yes very spicy. To the point I was sweating so much the three waitresses kept looking at me (not like the temperature outside didnt help). I finished a few refreshing beers that they kept cold for me and seeing that I was by myself one of the waitresses Kanjana took the time to talk between her tasks. It made the day perfect. I asked what they woudl recommend the next day and they told me the massaman. I came back asked for spicy and when I received it the food was great, but no spice. After the fact I asked Kanjana why it wasnt spicy and she stated that they say me yesterday look like I was in pain and wanted to make sure I enjoyed the food this time. This concern was seen throughout the three weeks I was onsite. The food was great, Kanjana as well as the rest of the team made me feel comfortable and let me stay and relax even when they shut the place down so I didnt feel rushed in the evening. It is a true gem of the area and should not be missed. Paul PMore

I have been in Chon Buri, Thailand for 25 years. Never has anyone told me about the Lake House Food and Coffee outdoor cafe, on the Sukhumvit Road, between The Floating Market and Bang Saray. The cafe doesn't even appear in the promotional literature for...locals and tourists. But since my first visit months ago, it has become my favorite place to escape the chaos and throbbing tempo of the beer bars and massage parlors sung about in the music video, "One Night in Bangkok," by Murray Head. The cafe sits at water's edge, that is trapped by water plants and a lagoon filled with jumping fish, tropical plants and trees that attract squirrels, exotic water birds (cormorants, white egrets, herons, and others), and an occasional otter. A constant, light, warm breeze floats over the lagoon and through the restaurant, and the entire scene is too pleasing to beleive it isn't infested with the hordes of passersby, racing along just a kilometre away on the Sukhumvit Road. This highway runs from downtown Bangkok to the Navy base at Sattahip. I have found no other place like it on the Gulf of Thailand. Tranquil, tasty lite European and Thai meals, served with wines or tasty fruit drink creations served by modest, but hospitable, charming, Thai staff a brief 20 minutes south of Jomtien provide a rare and rewarding escape from Pattaya and environs.More

Good food, cold beer and pleasant staff. We ate here several times during a recent stay at Ocean Marina and I would use it again on my next visit.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the Pattaya area. It is a little off the beaten path but that is what makes it so wonderful. On the shores of a little lake in the Ocean Marina grounds, this restaurant is a peaceful breezy...oasis of calm in the midst of what is otherwise a pretty frenetic community. I ate there once or twice a day for 10 days while taking a sailing course recently and EVERYTHING I ate was fantastic. I especially recommend the chicken wings, the minced pork with Thai basil, the Tom Khai, the crabmeat omelet, and the mango with sweet sticky rice. And the staff! We were literally in LOVE with them when we left. It is family owned and run by a gorgeous grandmother and her stunning young granddaughter...sweet and kind and real pros. The building itself just breathes relaxation, with wide views and a grass roof it is cool and comfortable. Whether coming for dinner or just drinks this place is a must-visit.More

Located at the eastern end of the lake between the 2 Marina high rises it is a little hard to find, but once you are there it is a quaint little place. Well weather protected from above, but no walls allows a lovely breeze to...blow off the lake. It is right on the lake, and very quiet even though it is so close to the boat work areas. Different types of seating and a lovely coastal decor makes it suit all customers. Last year when I was at the Marina it was generally not recommend by the locals, however they have a new owner and she has worked very hard to make the experience enjoyable. The service staff are very friendly and attentive and the food was tasty. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner they have a pretty good variety of food (although no burgers) and a good range of drinks. Good sized meals and very affordable. It just has a nice vibe about it.More

Because of several previous excellent experiences, we recently held a birthday party for 13 people at this venue. The table settling was gracious and beautiful, the service excellent and the food delicious, as usual. The menu reflects Thai prices, not corrupt foreigner tourist mark-ups. Honest...environment (by a lagoon), honest service, honest food and local prices. What else would you wish for in a town famous for its dlishonesty?More

My husband and I just finished a 10 day stay in Pattaya while taking a Sailquest sailing course. The lake house is very close to the ocean marina . We ate most of our meals at Lake House. Not one negative thing to say about...the staff, food , and service at this restaurant. They were very accommodating to our dietary needs and requests. Service was always prompt and attentive. Even special delivery of my husbands favorite Durian fruit was acquired. It made our stay in Pattaya even more enjoyable. We hope to one day visit again .More
