We got take-away from here last night and it was simple, good quality food. It seemed healthier and fresher than a lot of the other fish and chips we have tried. We upgraded to the battered Snapper & chips which was just under $20 but...enough to feed two adults. The fish was tasty and nicely battered and cooked, very enjoyable. The chips were a cut above too, they were crisp and tasty even after the 15 minutes drive home. The chips also had a really nice seasoning which is unique to the store, we all liked them. One thing I liked was how perfectly clean the shop was, they clearly take their OH&S seriously and I really trusted the food would be good looking at the way the owners kept the shop sparkling. My mother said it was the best fish and chips she has had in a few years (since we moved to the Gold Coast) and she is a tough critic. They have tables in the shop where you can eat but I suggest going one evening and eating on the picnic bench out front as when JFK Woodfire Pizza has live music you can hear it from the picnic bench, it makes for a pretty great atmosphere. Good fish n chips with live music in the background. I also like that this place doesn't sit right on a busy road so it has a better atmoshphere and is safer if you have children with you. Don't leave your fish and chips run too late though, we were here on a Sunday and they close at 7:30pm on a Sunday, we just made it!More

Came across this little fish and chips place outside Burleigh by chance. Cute little eatery which was spotlessly clean. Small but varied menu, with interesting side salads (would recommend the curry cauliflower). Opted for the tempura battered barramundi, which was delicious. A bit out the...way, but definitely worth a detour!More

We love visiting here with our fam. The two guys who run it are passionate about what they serve, always fresh, always good-only thing is ordering can take some time for the meals to come out. I haven’t eaten a whole lot of Japanese cuisine...but this certainly feels like a special one off restaurant.More

Oyster is crumbed better than average. Salad (sauce) is good as well. Three fishes, some oysters, prawns and calamari cost $66. I would say reasonable.

We had been told about this place and decided to go for lunch and we loved it. The fish was so good, the chips, to die for and the service fantastic. The snapper I had was so fresh and everything was cooked perfectly. No extra...oil anywhere, and came in little cardboard boxes! We will be back!More

My family dined here once before, and suggested I should try too. It was the best fish burger I’ve ever had! My kids insisted I tried chips too. It was nice and crunchy, not those soggy mushy ones we normally get elsewhere. I’d normally remove...crumbs as well because it’s normally thick and ‘heavy’, but like other reviews said, it was nice and light. If we are in the area, I’d go back. I’d want to try others on the menu too! If I must mention something negative, it’s the parking. We parked on the street, but there are allocated parking lot for the customers within the complex!? (Or maybe we didn’t look well enough)More
