What a beautiful little place to eat. Great for people of all ages. Lovely homemade food served by friendly staff. Great value for money and lovely to have a look around the garden centre and shop too.

We called on friday and decided to have our lunch here, it was quite busy. We queued and had our order taken, our drinks came soon afterwards. Then our meals, my husband had Hake, chips and peas, it was piled high on the plate! He said very filling and enjoyed it. I had fresh salmon in hollandaise sauce with new... More

We visit the cafe regularly and it has now become our favourite place to eat in the area. The breakfast selection is great and we always try something different each time we go for lunch. We've been very impressed with everything we have eaten and the coffee is always really nice too.

Hello, Thank you for your kind review, unfortunately our head chef has been off with an injury for the past couple of weeks and we have had to rely on the support of our other staff and agency chefs, the result of this is that we have had to simplify and cut down or specials menu for the time being... I took my mum out for lunch and we ended up at the garden centre/restaurant. Mum can't eat much so she decided on the soup of the day, it was tomato soup, which she thoroughly enjoyed. It's not often she says she enjoys food nowadays but on this occasion she did. I had jacket potato with tuna mayo and salad,... More

A warm welcome from the lovely staff, generous cafetière of steaming hot coffee and a difficult choice between the amazingly good freshly baked scones which include tasty cheese, cherry and almond and fruit, together with a relaxing read of the newspaper are the perfect start to any day. The outside area provides a sunny sheltered and pleasant alternative when the... More

Absolutely lovely breakfast, reasonably priced with polite, helpful staff. Even our dog got a treat! Went back later for a cream tea which was just as impressive although no cherry and almond scones left which we had wanted to try! Oh well, another trip later today then..!

This is a well set out, spacious, clean and airy cafe/restaurant. The food is good and well priced. Staff are pleasant. We just had drinks and a scone, which was quite good. We enjoyed being able to sit on the patio seating area in the sunshine. Although I live fairly locally, I don't think I'd make a special journey just... More
