I went to the Nippon Sun with two business colleagues for an evening meal. I must admit I am not always the greatest fan of some Japanese cuisine, but everything we had was really well presented and served with great subtle tastes while it was washed down with Kirin beer. We had one of the fixed menu options with was... More

A quite fancy restaurant at least when you look at the decor, and the setting. I got a huge sushi menu and it was good, but nothing you can't get from a decent take away joint. Not worth the money in my view (and i wants even paying my self)

The restaurant looks to crowded and is not that cozy, but we never choose a table. If you go there book well in advance the Teppanyaki - private cooking in front of you with a set of menus at a very good price level. The Teppanyaki chef demonstrates his know how and you are for some time in the mood... More

In general this is a nice place, part of the seedamm centre with the hotel and casino. Food is good, genuine and good value for money. Servicise is so and so. Everytime we have been there the waiting time for food has been rather long, but there is no competition around so there you are a decent japanese restaurant. Last... More

Had a nice sunday special during the christmas holidays there. The kids loved the unlimited sushi, the grown ups the unlimited continental and juices. Good service, loved the taste, had simply a very good family time there.

they offer you acceptable japanese food, mainly in 4 different 5-course menus with prices ranging between 65 and 95 sfr (drinks excluded). the quality was ok but nothing from another planet. the quantity was sufficient if the steak was chosen as main course, however when choosing monkfisch or lobster it was not the case. we were five persons and were... Overall this was a reasonable night out but nothing to rave about. What let the place down? Two main things, the service and the restaurant set up. While the service was always friendly the staff keep forgetting things. For example they forgot the wine and water we order, we had to remind them once we could finally get their attention.... More

Nippon Sun is located inside the Pfäffikon Seedam Plaza complex. The restaurant is rather small and authentic Japanese. Nippon Sun is run by two Japanese and the quality of the ingredients and dishes has always been excellent. We have been regulars in this place for the last two years and have never been disappointed. They offer many dishes beyond sushi,... More
