Finally we payed a visit to Le Cheval Blanc. We were 100% satisfied with delicious fillet de perche as well as dessert and wine. They proved that the best taste comes with putting together simple but high quality ingredients plus the passion. We will definitely come back for one of their typical menus.

This is a wonderful place to sit down, have a glass of wine, and have great conversations. It is so incredibly comfortable. The filet de perche is equally lovely. Together with a glass of their Pinot noir and you are in heaven. The Christmas decorations were a very nice touch to add to that cozy feel.

We had a cozy table in front of the window and ordered fillets de perches. They came with an okay salad to start with but the fish was very tasty (not always the case with these lake fish) and great crunchy chips washed down with a delicious Pinot blanc. We also had desserts - rum baba and a chocolate fondant... More

We went there because the Pinte was fully booked. What a great surprise. I knew that their specialty was filets de perches, so it was a great surprise to have one of the fondue I had in years. The restaurant is a typical bistrot. I'll definitely go back there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a good fondue... More

I am so delighted that the Cheval Blanc is still in business. My husband and I were regulars there whenever we were in Nyon (which occurred at least four-five times a year). Not only was the food terrific but the ambiance so inviting. This is a true bistro. I would love to say hello to Chef Morel (Diderot). Is there... More

The Fondue is what we came here for and we were not disappointed. The place was decked for Christmas which looked pretty corny. However, the owner was really sweet and very welcoming. We had a salad and fondue as well as a bottle of wine. It was absolutely perfect and I look forward to coming back!

We went to this little restaurant in Nyon on a Wednesday evening. We didn't have a reservation. It was full with one table spare but they happily seated us. If you are looking for a large menu this place is not for you. There is a board with entrees, plats and desserts, about three of each. Which suits me since... More

The Cheval Blanc is not a Pizzeria or one of these places where you get a choice of 100's of different dishes - if you need that better eat in Geneva. If you like good quality food and delicious desserts and love a cosy atmosphere - the Cheval Blanc is the place to go. I have been at that place... More

One more authentic, quiet, traditional restaurant in the heart of old town. Friendly no-nonsense service, local specialties.
