Come for the beer, stay for the food! Both are delicious. The beer garden, if it is open, is lovely.

The beer here is better than Schlenkerla in my opinion. It is often a little less busy. Definitely worth a quick stop to sample the beer. They also have very good food if you want to eat while you are here.

This brauerei is located almost directly across the street from Brauerei Faessla. There is a lot to see and do very close and the food here is equal to any in the city. There is also a unique rausch bier here. Try it....enjoy!

This bar cum brewery tap serves typical hearty German Food. Do not expect anything fancy just good solid fare in a typical German Bar where you share long scrubbed wooden tables with locals.
