We went for dinner with friends and our two seasonaire children. The formidable yet friendly hostess greeted, sat us and ensured we were comfortable. She took our order, recommended a cheaper local French fizz rather than the champagne, which was excellent, and served us quickly and efficiently. The food was excellent, we all had something different and all were delighted... More

We had a rainy day so decided to hop a cab from Val d'Isere down to Les Brevieres for lunch at La Sachette. Skiing there is advisable as the cab was $35 (Euros), but lunch was worth every penny. Very cute and comfortable inside dining, but large outside deck area with good views for the better weather. We split the... More

Nice group dinner. We were 12 persons. Fine service, good main course (Chateaubriand) and desserts. Small but reasonable wine list.

We called for a late lunch after a long mornings skiing we were not disappointed, the decor is rustic, warm and comfortable. Service is friendly and efficient, there is a good choice on the menu ranging from traditional local to pizzas, pasta, salads desserts etc. The food was well cooked, presented and absolutely delicious and not exorbitant in price. It... More

Well, we went there with some expectations after reading some reviews on TA. Thing is, the experience was far from ideal. We went there with a group of friends for dinner, but because our friends got their kind of late, we only had a light dinner, more like soup and salad. Most of us had the onion soup. 5 of... More

Visited several times over the last couple of years whilst staying in Val D'Isere. It's a long ski and quite a few lifts to get there but it's more than worth it and you certainly feel you've earned your lunch. The decor and feel is very traditional, the service is very friendly and the food delicious and very well presented.... More

We called in for a ski lunch. The service was good. The place was full. We really enjoyed our food and left happy full and ready to ski again. It's a small hike from the bottom of the lift but its worthwhile to find somewhere that does decent regional cuisine in a traditional way. Proper food, nicely cooked. Great -... More

Very decent local food at affordable prices. We all had different starters and mains, and all of us were happy! Would return if i'm back in the area.

Went on chalet night of. Busy but still good service. Nice and relaxed old style inside. Food good but a little overpriced.
