Cassis has a beautiful but touristic harbor with a dozen restaurants offering the same french-style local seafood dishes. La Romarin is a block in on a tiny side street so it is quiet and enjoyable. Food was well prepared and prices are very reasonable.

outstanding and friendly service, good basic food, very fair pricing. we shared a starter which was enough for two, wife had pizza, i had steak. one desert and local wine all for 52 euros, busy Saturday night, mix of tourists and locals.

After looking around at all the places to eat in Cassis we stopped here as we say them bring out a slab of lasagna to one of the current customers. Sitting on the street on a nice evening is hard to pass up. Plus they had both a menu in French and the translation on a separate menu in English.... More

This is a nice little place, a bit off the beaten track in quite high-priced and increasingly chic Cassis. If you just want a simple nice menu with reasonable wine this is it.

I am not sure why the experience was so bad for some people using this restaurant before, we did not order pizza but again when you look at other people pizzas you could see pizza is not the thing they are good at. We had a excellent linguini with gigant and excellent tasting shrimps! And I am very fussy both... More

We were walking around Cassis looking for a place to have nice dinner, and we saw this place quite full and assumed that it was good. Wrong! Everything started when we arrived with an unfriendly welcome (we don't speak french), then the cutlery was thrown at the table. I though again lets give them a chance the food should be... More

We made the mistake of landing in Cassis at 8:00 on a Friday night with no reservation. We wanted to sit outside. We wanted fish. No luck. Away from the waterfront we found a table at this place. No seafood, really. But the waiter was so kind and genuine, we thought we'd try anyhow. By the time we tasted the... More

sorry but I don't like to write negative reviewes but this one deserves everything I can deal out. Pizza was MARGINAL at best. Come on....what does it take to make a good pizza? I took the special. It came out cold and cheese was not even melted. We ordered a salad to split. When it showed up (service was absolutely... More

This is definately a hidden treasure when it comes to the dishes. If you want the best homemade lasagne in Cassis, this is the place! Just great. I have tried several of the pasta dishes/pizza, and they are delicious. The best Tiramisu in Cassis as well. They should change the house wine (red) though! The owners could have also done... More
