Good restaurants last. This Indian restaurant has been going 30 years. The food is superb and the staff are excellent. I'd have given it 5 stars but the restaurant either needs to move to a bigger site or cut back on the seats. Given all seats are usually full, it says a bit about the food.

The restaurant generally is clean, well laid out and bright, but not too so. Service is friendly, and 'not... More

The menu and cooks are authentic, portions are small and rather banal to suit French taste. The welcome and service is a good standard, and the decor attractive.

We came here 6 weeks into our summer holiday in Europe hoping to get an Indian meal similar to what we get in GB, so we were slightly disappointed that it didn't quite make the mark. After our initial not very crispy poppadoms with the usual chutneys, we shared a starter of typical Indian dishes like Samosas, Onion Bhajis and... More

As a curry eater all over the world from Hongkong to Bradford, from Melbourne to New York, I would have to put this "restaurant" at the bottom of the list for food. The quality of the meats and veg were good, as you would expect in France, but the curries were raw spices and flavourless, mostly salt, and no heat... More

You sometimes wonder if people realise how bad they are at thier jobs... Ok it was a Sunday night, we were the only people in the restaurant, plus a few take away passers by but the total lack of enthusiasm of the lady serving was quite amazing... We were hungry for Indian food so we stayed. The restaurant déco is... More

Finding good Indian food is difficult in France at the best of times. This restaurant was no different. The menu is promising as it doesn't incorporate other cuisines as is so often the case in France ie a restaurant will lump all Asian cuisines into one and none of them are very well done. At Le Taj Mahal the menu... More
