If you love omelettes it is worth the price. I would go at lunch however it is a lot cheaper, same food. The prices are high and waits long but for a a person truly interested in food history it is worth it. At night you will need reservation, for lunch you might get a table with out one. Contrary... I went for lunch on a Sunday and it was extremely crowded. I got to get a table, but service was slow, as expected due to the huge amount of customers. Prices for drinks were too high: soda ~7 euros, coffee the same, 9 euros for a cup of wine... I took the full menu (35 euros) to try the... More

We were really impressed with the open kitchen for public to view how their special omelettes were prepared. So we entered to try to get a table for lunch. We were shocked to be arrogantly told by a head waiter not to bother to wait, and that he cannot tell us how long the wait will be, and he can... More

Our dinner got off to a dire start with sullen, imprecise service. We repeatedly had to ask the waiter for wine we'd ordered, remind him of what we'd ordered, etc. The famous omelette? It was just okay, but certainly NOT worth the money charged. So my advice is visit Le Mont Saint Michel really early and head back to the... More

There are several Mere Poulard establishments - I ate at the one on the remparts, and except for an initial mixup in my entree order (quickly repaired) I was happy I had made the choice to enjoy the view and taste the famous omelette. There were cheaper "menus" but I wanted to experience the local food, so went for the... More

Dinner was fabulous. Each course was better and better. We had the omlettes for breakfast the next day. I know they're "famous" but it wasn't that great. The center was good because it was cooked but the edges were foamy and not appetizing. We spent 90 euros on breakfast for two. Not worth it in my opinion.

A real tourist trap! Expansive, very bad service and omelettes look much better than they taste! Avoid any omelettes even for dessert. Mont Saint Michel is fantastic to visit, just plan to have lunch somewhere else, like Avranches.

We have been to France 4 times and we have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. Prices were high, food was so so, but the wait staff were the worst I've ever seen - just generally annoyed that you even came to dinner - wish we had read the reviews on the real TripAdvisor - ruined our trip so...
