Very quaint restaurant interior - inside with cobble stones and benches that are covered with the fleur de lys, knight's armours and wall coverings. Very good food - I had spring cod, my husband the spit-roast piglet and my son the duck - all three dishes were delicious. The waiter spoke English and gave helpful explanations for some of the... Was amazed at the beauty of the interior of the restaurant and the rotisserie before a wood burning fire. And then the chefs came out to talk with us and explain the daily specials. Food was excellent with a choice wide enough to please everyone but small enough to allow proper preparation and cooking. Front of house were young and... More

We went for dinner at Auberge du Vieux Fermier in October 2016. The restaurant (with rooms above it) is house in a 17th century building beautifully renovated. There are two main rooms, which one could describe as the "kitchen" more intimate with a large working fireplace ; the "living room" more imposing. There's also the bistro which is very modern.... Delighted to discover such a great hotel, however, the restaurant was incredible! Delicious food. Opted for the grilled gambas( cooked on their open fire) to start then their speciality pork dish ( since 1975). Couldn't fault any of it.

The restaurant was decorated in the same style as the hotel, with a wood burning oven. The meals were traditional and cooked to perfection. The hotel owner would personally come and discuss the menu telling you everything you needed to know - it all seemed wonderful and it was hard to choose. Highly recommended was roast suckling piglet- which my... More

The restaurant has some of the best local cuisine, lovingly presided over by the chef. There is a fantastic rotisserie and the back of the restaurant, where you can see your food being cooked. I recommend the whole mackeral. It is superb. Also the the local delicacy of tongue with fois gras, layered with mouth watering accomplishments including a superb... More
