Small but traditional restaurant. Full on a wet windy February night. Food is first class, all fresh local produce. We had the 3 course 20-50 euro menu. Superb. 1 tip- book or you may be disappointed

We visited this restaurant for the 2nd time today on a day trip to France. We had prebooked a table this time as we were a party of 14 so would have struggled to get in! The restaurant itself is quite small- about 15 tables probably. Decorated in a French Rural Style- it reflects the family nature of the business... More

This was our 2nd visit having been just over a year ago. Sometimes a mistake to revisit and this time it was. The meal was average, the price was above average and the service was less than average. Such a shame.

Le Doyen is a very small restaurant, so we were lucky they had table for us. We did choose it from all the recommendations here, and they were true: Dining at Le Doyen is just excellent, with a very friendly, personal service. I'll be back!

Found this great little restaurant by chance. There were 6 of us and we got a table upstairs. Very French and quaint with many locals eating here too. Lots of different set price menus which seemed confusing. We all enjoyed our 3 courses. Mussels were lovely, dish of the day (lemon sole) was delicious and profiteroles very chocolatey! House wine... Haven't been here for a couple of years. Still excellent food and good service at a resonable price. 4 courses, wine and coffee €37.

I wanted to go to this restaurant after reading the reviews on TA. We walked right by the alley where it is located, it is a tiny alley. The night we went it was cold but they had a heater going. It was very small but the reception was very nice and we were very comfortable. I started with a... More

We (2) came across this little jem of a restaurant nr the main church sq. one evening. €20.5 menu v good value: Starters of hot chèvre salad with lardons and mushrooms & gratinee de fruits de mer, followed by trio of fish fillets in a delicious saffron sauce & my husband had the dish of the day which was an... The menu at 20 euros was amazing value. For starters, the salade de chevre chaud and the terrine were enormous. In the mains the three types of fish, the pasta and the dish of the day were hugely generous. The food was cooked in a typically French style and service was efficient. By the time we hit dessert, I wished... More
