Although we live relatively locally, we have not visited Whalley before and when we mentioned our intended visit to friends they said we must visit Benedicts and we are so glad we took their advice. Indeed our only regret was that we had already had breakfast! From stepping through the door, to leaving, each member of staff we saw, or... More

Thankyou so much for your nostalgic trip down comfort food alley! We thrive on thinking up food people actually love to eat! I am delighted your trip to Whalley was such a success and we look forward to welcoming you again when you can try our lunch menu... with treats such as home made pies.... macaroni cheese and then crumble... With friends over from Australia, thought I would treat them to a simple lunch at Benedicts. May have been an off day, but burger came out dry, fries lukewarm ( and sparse) and chicken goujons appeared to be deep-fried slices of breast meat. Although a simple order, they got it wrong (asked for bacon but no cheese on burger and... More

Thankyou for thinking of Benedicts to bring your visitors out for lunch. I know personally when I have friends staying I think carefully about showing off our area to its best. I can only apologise that we fell so far short on your visit. We have met with the kitchen and discussed at length how to tighten up all our... More

Visited for lunch with friend Food was great, but waitress was a bit surly, didn't smile once - very offhand . Very busy with a good atmosphere so made up for the bad service.

Stopped in for Sunday Breakfast. The cafe is lovely and staff very nice. The breakfast was however quite disappointing. The sausages were relatively flavourless chipolatas and my Bacon was overcooked and practically hard. For almost £9 I would expect good, local produce. I got the feeling most of the ingredients were a bit cheap. Simple upgrades on the meat front... More

Another lovely breakfast with excellent attention and service in a much appreciated local gem of a coffe shop and deli!!! Great meeting place to catch up, with good food and an extensive breakfast menu to suit all tastes. Well worth a visit. Pleased to state that I resisted bringing a cake home for "later" as you name it, in terms... More

Had a little trip out to whalley, thought we would get a coffee and lunch! Shop was busy but our experience was not a good one, we spoke to three different members of staff at different times each one we found to be rude and unintrested, and not one returned to us after we requested a table. First time we... More

We dropped in for some lunch and our first reaction on the restaurant was very positive. The place was very busy and we had to wait for a table which we didn't mind. The food however was below par and 2 of the meals were stone cold so these were returned to the kitchen. When the meals came back they... More
