We made a reservation to this place two days in advance. When we arrived, the host pretended that he did not receive our reservation and he received just before us a big group of tourists that he accepted without reservation. He proposed to sit us in the kitchen and explained that there will be a long wait before being served... More

We had a good meal with lots of investing asian flavors. Lovely garden setting, The lady chef was lovely.

This restaurant, located just off the main street of Sarlat, was a peaceful respite after a busy day--just what we needed. It is tucked away up a few stairs from the street in a peaceful garden setting. We ate outside and it was lovely. The menu was typical of the region full of duck and fois gras--but we happen to... We had a great dining experience here recently. Service is excellent, food was very good, and our waitress spoke English well. The menu was reasonable varied and priced. We had foie gras as a starter and duck for the main plate, sort of typical local fare but very well presented and tasty. We would have returned for another dinner except... More

The place is beautiful and surprising, I thought we would have a great dinner, but neither came close. A glass of wine from a mediocre size, very limited menu, bad food and expensive. I believed in the Tripadvisor's score and "fabulous" classification, but in my opinion, in this case, is not consistent with reality. I do not recommend.

After reading reviews of this restaurant we were looking forward to a different dining experience, it was billed as Asian fusion, it turned out to be the usual and predictable fare for Sarlat and region. Very dissapointing, the vegetarian salad included Prawns, not the thing for a vegetatian, my Magret de Canard was tiny and overcooked, the starter of Gespagio... More

Recommended by our hotel owner as a place that is open all year and caters to locals as well as tourists, this was our second evening dinner in Sarlat. After last night's meal at Le Presidial, Le Petit Manoir was not up to my expectations, but my partner was more positive. We both had two different appetizers, both featuring foie... More

Heard about this restaurant from friends who had tried it before. We were very pleasantly impressed by the gothic arch over the portal. Though it was a hot summer day, the tables in the terrace were comfortable as there were electric fans. Had the soft shell crab dish beside noodles. The 5-spice magret didn't live up though to my expectation... More

We went for lunch and choose the set menus. They were basic good french food but nothing exceptional. Looking at the menu and other tables I wonder if to choose "a la carte" would have been a better idea. Prices are good and the location is very nice. We were outdoor but also indoor is beautiful. The restaurant is located... More

Despite a rather cool greeting ('You wait, I need to do something else right now') we settled on the terrace in a very pretty courtyard of a stately home. Tastefully renovated and despite the temptation to squeeze people in, tables were nicely spaced. We chose from the main menu avoiding the set menu option. The 'duo of foie gras' consisted... More
