We were travelling and had stopped at many fine restaurants, and this was very good indeed, nice and lively not too much food but delicious tastes and a wine pairing from the region. highly recommend

I have been in this restaurant last week with my girlfriend. The chef is good and the food is very nice worth the price, even though there was nothing so unforgettable. Desserts were also very good. Service, however, was terrible. In such a restaurant, where a bottle of water cost 6€, I do expect to have a waiter around ad... More

the food is really fantastic, worth every penny. each course is a masterpiece. what is missing is for instance a cheese platter. the wine is a bit different, as it is in the middle of a wine area, they serve the locals, but it is maybe a bit too boring and also not always the perfect match, which it should... We always visit a couple of michelin * restaurants while we travel, my wife being a fierce degustator. La Table De Gourmet offers 1* food but lacks few service fails. We loved the young gentleman, our waiter but the young sommelier lady needs more edge as a service professional. My wife didn't like the foie gras terrine experience. In any... More

Something for people that like innovative food combined with good wines. We ordered the big taste meny combined with a winepackage. Many tastesurprises as for example strawberry to lobster, tomatosorbet etc. The combination of wine and food was sometime unusual but worked very well together. All in all a wonderful evening.

La Table du Gourmet serves a range of local and international dishes in an environment that is distinctly more post-industrial than Alsace wine stube - and none the worse for that. The cooking is good and the service friendly and accommodating.

A special evening out - beautiful decor - warm and welcoming with attention to detail from the unusual plates to the delicate cutlery. We had the 80 euro tasting menu which was good value. Marvellous appetisers of tasty little pasta wrapped vegetables, cashew tarts and fried spinach pasta packets of parmesan cream followed by a curry soup with breaded frogs'... More

We enjoyed a special evening during our trip to Alsace - our second visit to this restaurant. Even with our extremely limited French, the staff was very helpful in explaining everything and introducing each course in English. The summer garden menu was a delight with many flourishes and a few surprises along the way. Wine pairings were excellent, with some... More

We visited La Table du Gourmet on a rainy Sunday evening. They were open, my birthday was the next day and Mondays are hard to find a decent place open. It was a really slow night and got the full attention of the staff and the kitchen. We had the spring menu and every single dish was outstanding. Especially memorable... More

Ate dinner here during a wine trip. We had the 7 course printemps tasting menu. The food was great and we loved how the food was arranged and the range of different tastes mixed. The service was not particularly friendly. In had a pit in of the dishes and bit on it. I told the waiter that I had a... More
