Found this place by chance on a Sunday night in the old town of Viterbo when many places were closed. Very old & quaint inside but food was fantastic - the risotto was superb as was the tortellini. Main courses ( secondi) were good sized & half litre of decent wine was only 3 euros. We queried the bill as... More

We had the pleasure of having lunch at this place during our Viterbo visit. A traditional Italian trattoria with good, solid food - surely did not disappoint. Also the house wine actually proved to be really quite nice. Recommended if you are in the area!

Even though I didn't know quite what I was ordering, the food was good, huge portions and very reasonably priced. Plus the bread is good, the wine is cheap and they have wifi! I have been there twice and will probably return. It is usually filled with locals.

The two of us were strolling the piazza and saw the sign pointing to the restaurant down a side street. We had no plans so decided to try La Piccola. The atmosphere was that of a "local spot" and we felt quite welcome there. Food was good - hearty and well prepared. Service was excellent, as our waitress - thankfully... More

I'm not sure a tourist would really go here, the food is ok but nothing to write home about. The service was fine. The interior is cheap and not so cheerful. Our bill for two adults and two children came to €65 but not everyone had a a second. We added it up afterwards and it seemed 10€ over but... More

This was lovely - so unexpected. We each had a 'primo' followed by shared salads, water, coffee - the bill was very rerasonable and the food was very very good. We were treated with courtesy and respect which is refreshing when you are a tourist. The head guy who served us (probably Patrizio?) was very nice, helpful and polite, even... More

We were hungry and actually grabbed the first restaurant we saw. Small, clean and simply furnished, the place really had a cosy family-style restaurant feeling. The first course was so abundant (risotto with speck and pasta with read beans) that we shared the second course and side dish. We concluded with home made dessert. All this with a half L... More

I was in Viterbo for the day and i have enquired to the telephone company which was the nearest restaurant to Porta Fiorentina, that is convenient if you come from the north on cassia road. They told me to choose da patrizio trattoria just 50 meters from the square with the beautiful fountain. patrizio welcomed us, 2 italians and three britishtourists,... More
