This bistro & bakery is small in size but big on freshness & servings we were there for lunch and I had a meat ball sandwich. The sandwich was large in size & good. The meatballs were made from scratch and just the right amount of home made pasta sauce on the fresh bun. The following week I took my... More

The food at Rays is excellent... I've gone many times, with clients, friends, and groups of students (I have an art school at the Alton Mill nearby) and consistently, the food and service have been fabulous! The seating is a little tight, as it's a small restaurant. It's a good idea to make a reservation as the locals love it... More

Have had dinner there on 3 separate occasions = tried something different each time and each time exceeded expectations! Good portion size, top quality ingredients, nice presentation. Can't go wrong.

It doesn't look like much from outside but don't let that fool you. The food here is fantastic. We've been several times and have had many things on the menu and have never been disappointed. They often have live music which I really appreciate. Living in the country sometimes feels void of sophisticated culture but this place makes me feel... More

We have been here a few different times. They have been excellent every time. The food was amazing and service was great. It is a bit small inside but cozy. You just try their steaks, too die for.

This was our third trip back to Ray's for lunch. Equally as enjoyable as the other 2 times - if not more so. What a spot ..... it's been there for a long, long time. That in itself speaks volumes for it! It's a bakery and a Diner combined. Limited seating and it fills up every time. People wait in... More

Boy am I glad that we have amazing foodies in Orangeville and surrounding area! They recommended Ray's and it was a fantastic experience! Sherry is lovely! Have you ever had a PERFECT seafood pasta olio? Well I did there! Noodles were perfectly al denté and every single noodle was coated in the beautiful slightly spicy olive oil. The amount of... More

Made a reservation for last Friday night. Was informed at the time of making the reservation that we would be seating in the front area by the guy that plays guitar and sings. No problem though I did mention we preferred the dining area and that we always seemed to be seated in the back corner, which we think of... More

A group of 4 of us met for lunch and chat. As mentioned, the menu is in a blackboard and offers something for everyone. Most of us tried the Yorkshire Pudding packet with tasty beef rib meat and horseradish, topped with smoked cheese, served with mashed potatoes for $13 and a side of organic greens with goat cheese for $5....
