PROS Good environment and overall position. Broad choice in the menu. Good quality and quantity of food. CONS Service might speed up, not excellent raw fish and a bit overpriced in my opinion. Maybe something changed from past.

This evening we selected Federico because we love restaurant with great service and fantastic food. WHAT a disappointment, and this story tells who you can destroy a good reputation in one evening. With a menu that was not updated, the most attractive dishes was not...possible to get ( and what was the reason for coming here … ). Finally when we got our food, the Spaghetti Vongole was full off sand. The service was unprofessional; got the aperitif after the appetizer. Serving different wines into the same glass ( which was not empty ). Had to ask for new cutlery after each meal ( sometime we had to take it ourselves from the next table ). Waiting, waiting and waiting for the different dices and wines, even for the bill.More

The owner of the place confirmed the availability of his place for a wedding celebration. We made 600km to visit the place and checked his notebook in front of us to confirm the availability. After 3 weeks he called to say that unfortunately the place...was already reserved but that he “forgot” about it. Very uneducated and disrespectful attitude. A public place owner and a mature person should not allow himself to provide such a poor service. Shame on you, Americo!More

This has become our go to place when in the area. Rent an umbrella and sunbeds, and then have lunch at Da Federico. Great setting, upscale decor but still a family run place. Nice wines from the region. North end of the lungomare.

Proudly boasting itself as the number 1 restaurant. We sat fairly close to the kitchen where you could see the hustle and bustle. Waitress was nice if not a little patronising. Good selection of reasonably priced wine. Food was average though.

Expensive trap for Russian tourists! The fish super expensive and limit fresh. Nice setting. Total rip off. Sad to see where Italy has gone to!

I experienced one of the most pleasant meals in a very long time at Da Federico. The freshness of the Adriatic Sea fish and shellfish, the simple addition of superb olive oil and strictly locally grown vegetables, turned this meal into an experience to remember....The selection of raw fish and shellfish is magnificent. Please do not confuse it with sushi as this is definitely superior to any sushi I have ever tried. Don't forget to order the caffe' del pescatore at the end of your meal! MonikaMore
