Paid a lot lot lot of money for pasta dish with 1 scampi e 2 small prawns and small grilled fish for a second dish. I will never return back.

Quality location, good both for a brief stop at the bar or a longer dinner on weekend evenings. Cocktails are a bit too expensive, and ususally there's no music, but it is a solid choice.

I don't know if amazing can describe accurately. Wait staff and food are more than exceptional. The hustle and bustle of the locals walking the waterfront speaking in Italian made it even better. A must visit for this Star shaped pizza.

Located near the ferries this restaurant has a lively environment and is at the same time fairly quiet when compared with the hectic in Naples. We ordered as a starter a dish consisting of a variety of fish servings. Very good and tasty. Slight drawback: when the traffic becomes more busy and you eat outside gasoline smell tends to spoil... Lunch: My fried shrimp and calamari were good, but my partner's gamberoni were excellent. We downed the best part of a bottle of the local falanghina between us. A restorative lunch after the long bus ride from Cuma (qv).

We had been wanting to go here for a while due to the nice facade and location. Our stupidity, especially after seeing all the bad reviews. We went on a weeknight that wasn't that busy, and yet somehow the waiters were still overwhelmed and forgot our orders. We didn't get half of our food, and the other half took so... More

We stopped at "American Lunch" time (noon) and had a quick sandwich and coffee. The food was fresh and simple, and the coffee drinks were nicely done. The outdoor cafe was just starting to fill up as we left. It's centrally located, inexpensive, and has a nice atmosphere.

I had a really nice lunch here whilst I waited for the ferry to Ischia. Staff were friendly and I could not fault the service or food. Great value too, nice experience.

Great Italian seafood restaurant experience. My first trip here, I believe we had about 4 to 5 courses with 15 options of food.. very familiga style sharing. We ordered 2 bottles of wine and we paid 30 Euros each. The food was great and it was an experience I wanted to repeat. When my family came into town for a... More

We had lunch in il Capitano on a hot Sunday afternoon. After a mix of excellent seafood antipasti, we proceeded with pasta dishes of similar quality. Service was attentive throughout. A little more expensive than we would normally have spent for lunch but, given the quality and freshness of the seafood, this is not a complaint.
