About
The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.

Asked for the veggie pasta and straightaway said we don't do it. Very rude and not accommodating at all. Will not suggest this place for anyone wanting vegetarian dishes

Great meal, everyone enjoyed whether fish, pasta or homemade crisps/chips and good view. Good quality despite wide ranging menu

One of most unforgettable nights and dinners we had the entire trip! We were referred by our hotel since it was raining and initial plans to dine elsewhere on a terrace were canceled, which ended up working out for the best since the food, atmosphere...and service were all amazing and Lorenzo and his team truly made us feel like family. We were with our 10month old baby and they were so nice, had toys for her and even offered to hold her/give her a little tour for a few minutes so we could eat and she absolutely adored them. They have live music and guests throughout the restaurant were singing along and it was honestly the best time. If you want a place with excellent food, authentic Italian culture (in what can otherwise be a pretty touristic town), and a lively welcoming atmosphere for dinner this is a hidden gem! Sea bass and rigatoni were fantastic and tiramisu for dessert was amazing. We’ll definitely be back someday! Also recommend a reservation since they were pretty busy.More

We stopped in for dinner without a reservation and the host/manager kindly accommodated us. It was a little loud sitting inside but the servers were all very friendly and efficient and the food was some of the best we had. It's not as fancy as...some of the other places we went to but comfortable and relaxed. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it.More

We had lunch and the food was delicious. My wife had gnocchi and I had a thick linguine pasta that was really good. There is a $3 per person cover

We took a boat from Sorrento to Positano and had lunch in this lovely restaurant. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Went for all fish dishes, tuna, sea bass, salmon etc. All delicious and the sauce the sea bass came in was incredible. Everything was so...fresh and beautifully cooked. A little pricey but you get what you pay for, and it was impossible to fault. Delicious Tiramisu afterwards, and left feeling very pleased with our choice. Go there!More

This restaurant was amazing! I went with family of 7 adults. The wait staff and owner were very welcoming! We felt at home. There was a man named Pietro walking around singing beautiful Italian classic songs. We all sang along while dancing in our chairs....The atmosphere was lively and amazing. We sat outside as we watched the sunset. I had the lobster pasta and it was amazing. My kids had the lemon fish pasta and it was amazing as well!! I highly recommend this restaurant!More

We went here based on a recommendation from our concierge. The food was decent, but nothing stands out. Basically the same standard menu that you’ll find all over Positano. Sadly, the restaurant is across the road from the water side, and all the parking out...front obscures any view. Also, the lighting is very bright for evening dining. Service was rushed. It was obvious that they were trying hard to churn people through. All this said, we really enjoyed the entertainment—a roving guitarist crooning Italian hits. A bit kitschy and touristy, but still very fun.More

They act like they only have tables if you booked a table but then at arrival don’t even ask for the name to verify it - they want to make an impression that they’re exclusive. We waited half and hour for a bruschetta and over...an hour for the main. Pasta was way more al dente than anywhere in Italy. The steak was a joke - €22 for a thin piece of fatty meat that tasted of nothing, not even a drop of sauce served with it, sides had to be paid extra. Definitely not recommending, waste of time and money.More

This was our last meal we had on our Italy trip and it was a great way to end our trip. We originally went here becasue it was only a few steps from our hotel, but we would definitely come back! The black and white...seafood pasta was amazing with fresh seafood, highly recommended! My wife had the gnocchi and it was great as well!More

Wonderful freshly cooked food we enjoyed all the dishes we had which included lobster, squid, and other sea food dishes. Our favourite stater was their Fiori di Zucchina. We also enjoyed different local wines recommended by the waiters. There is also on certain days of...the week live music by the talented Pietro Rainone guitar/mandolin/singer. Highly recommend this restaurant.More
