Perfect for a light lunch but you may decide to linger longer. Cheese and meat platter (12 Euro.....enough for 3) wild boar pappardelle (9 Euro) and ricotta cake (5Euro) with pears. Superb. It may be small but don't be put off by first appearances this place punches above its weight. Delicious!!

Stopped here with my wife for a sandwich. Very tasty pork. If only that had BBQ sauce. Thay do have other commitments; mustards, olive oils, mayonnaise. Sandwich was as large as a small pizza. Aunt and Uncle are visiting in a few days, we are sending them here for lunch!

This is a small restaurant, in the historic center of Orvieto, very close to the Duomo! The atmosphere is cosy, beautiful and very peculiar with lots os messages of clients from all over the world! The service is very nice and kind! And the food is amazing! You must try the porchetta, but don't worry, anything you choose in the... More

We has lunch at this restaurant. The lunch was simple but delicious. My husband had wild boar raghu and I had the cold roast pork with a salad. We had bruschetta to start and they were generous with the olive oil which we were grateful for.

Escaped into this cozy restaurant during a rainstorm in late November. All of our food was delicious, especially the grilled pumpkin and the pork cicotto with beans. The staff was knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free eating which created a stress free environment for me to enjoy our late lunch. The food was great and reasonably priced.

Every thing we ate was delicious - pasta with truffles, pasta with wild boar - and the service was great. Casual but thoughtful. Perfect stopping place after a blustery day walking around this sweet town. Plus, after a few days in Roma, the prices felt like a great value.

Good local food. Offers wild boar as a specialty. That's average but interesting pork. The place is adorned with glowing accolades of visitors. It's a small nice place to have a meal. Great? No, but went there a couple times as other choices a limited. Reading some of the testimonies on the wall makes one wonder where these folks have... More

One thing I love about Italian food is that it is so simple yet so delicious. Here I had big slices of pork with a garnish on the best rustic bread. Delicious! Folks are very nice who work there.

We have visited Orvieto a number of times and we really like L'Oste del Re. The food is always good! Some might consider the service a tad bit surely, but that's what makes the place so fun and interesting. Expect good pastas and meat dishes here that are simply prepared and presented. No over-the-top dining, just tasty food!!!

Thank Mr L
