Well worth a detour from the centre. A range of interesting and unusual flavours, not the standard tourist trap. And all of fantastic quality.

I had a gelato there this afternoon and was very pleased. I has a berry flavor combined with pannacotta that was the best I've had in Orvieto. The place was swamped with customers and they all seemed to be loving their gelato. I'll go back again before I leave Orvieto.

This is an excellent gelateria. Limited range but fantastic ice cream, all home made. Apricot and mango with white peach were perfect on a hot summer's day.

This is some of the best gelato in Italy and let me tell you, we seems to have consumed gelato everywhere possible! This gelato is sinful in richness and flavor. We tried cherry (and no, it did not taste like cough syrup at all) and the dark chocolate. The chocolate was so intense, it actually looks like black tar. Mixed... More

Stopped in for gelato during our day trip to Orvieto. One of the best places we visited for gelato during our trip to Italy. Highly recommended.

This little shop sells the most delicious ice cream. It has a limited range because they make it themselves.

This is one of the best "gelatos" I have ever tried and I'm VERY picky when it comes to "gelato". Chiara and her mother has a passion for what they are doing and it can be tasted. The recipe for their gelato is a mix of the best raw materials, tradition, skill, and scrupulous standards and the result is a... More

Even on a Friday afternoon in a tourist town, La Musa closes mid-day. We finally found them open at 3pm, t it was worth the wait! Of course there is other good gelato in Orvieto, but don't let this one escape you!
