Great experience on the slopes for lunch. Great starters. We tried a beef carpaccio which was amazing. Very great atmosphere and well curated. Located in a perfect spot with loads of sun to soak in!

Nice stop. We went there from predalago and walked till the restaurant. Early there was availability and we got a good lunch. Tipical food for a total of 140€ in 4 adults and 3 small childs. Good stop to dine in and then move again...skiingMore

Great location but terrible food. We had to reject both pasta dish and goulash soup as they were cold and completely inedible. The only decent freshly cooked food that was ok were French fries. The most disappointing meal we’ve had in Madonna won’t bother coming...here again. Everywhere else on the piste has been fab but not his place .More

The location is nice - we rented sun chairs for 3 EUR and enjoyed the warm weather. However the Aperol Spritz cocktails were very watery and the apple strudel came cold without ice cream and/or whipped cream.

We had lunch at this restaurant and were very disappointed having eaten at some marvellous restaurants on the mountain at Madonna di Campiglio over the previous six days. The menu is uninspiring and so we chose what was described as macaroni with ham, broccoli and...layers of cheese - thinking that this would be simple for the cook and therefore fool proof - we were wrong. This dish turned out to be rather dry macaroni, with very little ham or broccoli and a few flakes of parmesan on top. As one pf our party said "the kind of food you might give to a fussy child". We are experts on apple strudel after a week in thus resort. The offering here was complete with soggy pastry and far too much cinnamon - the apple strudel has been quite delicious at other restaurants. Avoid.More

Anything tastes good after a walk in the mountains. We were surprised therefore to have little appetite for the pasta dishes we ordered after a strenuous walk in the mountains above the rifugio. The place wasn’t crowded but the service was slow. The bill was...excessive for such mediocre food. We’ll take sandwiches next time - save money and eat far better.More

Self-service refugio - pretty awful all around. Expensive and not good quality. Would not recommend. We had a mixture of soup, chips, pasta etc. And only the pasta was nice! Long queues means that food was cold by the time we sat down.

The views are amazing and for a lunch time venue it is second to none. You may have to wait a little while for a table but it is definitely worth the wait. The food is excellent and beautifully cooked. We had potato and leak...soup which was delicious. Then we had chateau-briand and roasted vegetables. The meat was superb even better than the best Scottish beef. Not somewhere you can come every day but if you are in the area definitely worth a visit.More

This is a gorgeous place next to an alpine lake only accessible by gondola or hike. The rooms are comfortable alpine cabins. The staff are super friendly and the food is exactly what you need after a days hiking. The carpaccio and anti pasta were...both especially good. I also really liked the friendly goats and pony who wonder the grounds. Parking in the town is easy and next to the bottom of the gondola and costs about €8 for 24 hours. Very safe. We did a 6ish hour hike direct from the rifugio around some local alpine lakes. It was a beautiful hike and had another rifugio on the way around for refreshment. Really recommend this little gem!More

I thought one can never go wrong with lasagne in Italy, kids were super hungry after 5-6hours skiing. I took goulash with polenta, lasagne for kids and veggie soup for my wife. Soup was boring and generic, goulash was ok-ish. Lasagne were non-edible, pre-made, fool...of taste enhancers, over cooked, mushy pasta. Avoided that restaurant for the rest of the skiing holiday.More

Have been in Italy for nearly 4 weeks and eaten all types of meals but the food here was the worst. Ordered beef cheeks and polenta - the beef cheeks were tasteless and the polenta like glue. Kids had spinach gnocchi with butter and sage...sauce - but there was no sauce. It’s also expensive. Bring a picnic lunch and avoid this place.More

There are two ways to eat here, in a self service cafe style area or a lovely a la carte restaurant. As a family of four, there is probably about a 30% price premium in going for the latter but it is worth every penny....Great service, fantastic food and in a nice, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Whereas in the cafe it can be a bit of a squash with big queues at peak times. Food in the both is very good indeed. Turkey Schnitzel and the streaks were particularly memorable. The bar at the base of the chalet is also really nice and if you are staying in Campo Carlo mango, you can have a last drink here before the piste actually closes and then ski down in total isolation - just us on the piste for about 3km! It was just fantastic.More

Three choices: Bar, Selfservice and a la carte restaurant. All three very good! The Restaurant is very culinary compare to other places on the Madonna pistes! Very Italian! Good service and despite of the busy high season everyone of the staff keeps their smile! The...Bar is also very cosy and friendly.....except for the lady (if she is there) where you need to pay first for your Espressos in the Bar....everyday she is irascibile....but this is no reason to go elsewhere....if you be there for the triple visit her attitude makes you laughing.... Self service restaurant.....not tried....but the cuisine should be the same as the other 2.....so guess a 4plus out of 5!More
