It’s 1* Michelin restaurant , and it’s clear why! Diner was incredible. Starred restaurant with an extremely well cared and special menu offer, based on the deep knowledge and understanding of the local ingredients by the Chef and the service team very skilled. Excellent wine...offer and extraordinary cocktail making. Very recommended. Booking mandatory ( deposit 50 € / per person ) .More

Delicious! Fancy! Tasty! Just make sure you book beforehand. They can email you back in Italian. Not in English! we thought it was a conformation, but the email actually said they were full. Luckily they have managed to find us a table. Their tasting menu...is really good. Servings are small of course, but there are so many dishes even in the 3-course menu that it is hard to eat the dessert. I would recommend to try their wine pairing. Truly lovely restaurantMore

On January 19th we went with a party of 15 adults and 3 children to have dinner there and celebrate our’s friend birthday. As we were a big group we were told to go there before to choose some plates in order to facilitate the...service. We explained that 3 persons were vegetarian and they gave us the options for the tasting menu. They suggested some pasta , a filet and some French fries for the 3 children ( 4, 2 and 1 years old). Everything was set. When we arrived at night a wonderful table with fresh and beautiful flowers were set. We decided to start with a champagne but the waiter insisted to offer a bigger and more expensive one. No problem, we did our choice. The waiter had no idea about what we have agreed before. He didn’t offer the vegetarian options and had no idea about the children food. He didn’t also checked the food restrictions and although we told him about ones seafood allergy he just ignored it. When the children’s food arrived only the pasta came and it took almost one hour for the steak and the potatoes. We were charged 40 Euros per child! The meal , we can’t complain. It was very good, everybody loved it. When the bill arrived another surprise. The amount we have payed in advance when we booked it , instead of being discounted was charged again. It was only 600 Euros! The next morning we had the worst news: 3 people spend the night vomiting and with diarrhea and others 4 with strong diarrhea. It’s unacceptable.More

We went on the tasting menu and did partial pairing of wine. (2 glasses each) From the amuse de bouche to the desert the food is sophisticated innovative and tasteful. The 4 small plates of the cole amuse de bouche the scallops, the risotto, the...cheese stuffed fillet of beef, the fish composition and the black forest 2,0 as desert were all above expectation The price (220 euro) was more than reasonable for the qualityMore

Great Michelin star restaurant with creative and tasty food, reasonably priced for this level. We ended up paying 90 Euro per person for ample food, wine, digestif, aperitif, deserts and everything we wished - which is a very reasonable pricing for a Michelin Star. Very...good wine list, with many positions at just 20-30% markup to the supermarket price. We were with several kids, and the restaurant was absolutely flexible and welcoming, offering kids menu and everything the kids needed (which is not always the case for michelin star restaurants).More

The location is upscale chalet. The service was friendly but a bit obsessive, the waiters would refill half full glasses of water and keep coming back to serve the wine. We went there for Xmas eve and choose the set menu. The menu was completely...explained at the beginning of the night, which some of us appreciated very much. We had a cold and warm entree, both very good, followed by the scallops with an asian touch, then nothing for over 40 mn. The restaurant was not full, and the menu set, so i do not understand the delay. This is not acceptable. Main course was average, the meat soaked in cheese and bacon was very heavy and the dessert really not worth it. I also expected maybe a touch of Xmas, For me i was also bothered by 2 kids ''sitting'' next to me. I think in a restaurant like this they should arrange for children to be sat away from other tables. Overall will not go backMore

The Hotel Bertelli is one of the best hotels in Madonna Di Campiglio. As a birthday treat we decided to eat downstairs in Il Gallo Cedrone. We were not disappointed. The normal wonderful service and lovely atmosphere of the whole hotel was simply extended to...include the most wonderful food. Every attention to detail was made. We went for the tasting menu and were completely blown away by the standard. Good value for money. Have paid far more in not nearly good food. You are not ripped off with the wine. Amazing selection of local and International wines at very reasonable rates. Can't wait to go back! To combine a lovely hotel, best skiing in Italy and such a great restaurant, why go anywhere else.More

This restaurant is an absolutely hidden gem. It is in the basement level of the Hotel Bertelli at the foot of the Pradalago Cabin. I am astonished tha there have been so few recent Tripadvisor reviews of this one star Michelin restaurant! I consider myself...very fortunate to have secured a table for 6 at only three hours notice but this was a wonderful foodie and wine experience. The restaurant is really comfortable and has the ambience of an old ski chalet. The three staff who served us were warm, efficient and knowledgeable. I c ould happily have gone for the tasting menu bu the majority view was for a la carte. The menu is based on regional flavours and ingredients - and if not that which is brought in is quality. I liked the hors d'oeuvres served with your choice of four fizzes. This was the first example of the considerable care taken to match wine and food. Loved the combinations of fruit flavours with the salmon and oyster. The pate in a small case was matched by the excellence of the venison carpaccio. My risotto and pork belly was delicious but not filling and set me right up for the caramelised and braised veal cheek. I could also not resist the chocolate dessert! Others loved their lobster, Wagyu steak, beef, tuna - how does the chef manage to offer such diverse voluptuous cuisine? The wine list was slightly intimidating but we were guided through this and made shrewd choices with the sommelier and maitre d'. We turned down coffee but still were offered petit fours - amazing! You might expect that this would have been a Michelin dining experience at a major cost but I consider the 120 euros a head an absolute bargain for this outstanding gastronomic experience! I have put the Hotel Bertelli on my bucket list for a return visit to stay and indulge myself at Il Gallo Cedrone. The atmosphere was one of calm, comfort and service. My only advice would be to ensure that you are not disappointed. Book this absolute gem well in advance!More

We have just had a most excellent meal with the most beautiful of wines. I cannot praise this restaurant too much. It certainly lived up to its reputation. Ok so it certainly isn't cheep but the old saying "you get what you pay for" is...just so true. The service, like the food, was impeccable. Two hours of pure joy. We were made so welcome despite the fact that there had previously been a mix up with our reservations. Thank you so much.More
