Delicious pumpkin ravioli, great service. Would absolutely come here again. Also very good that it is the oldest osteria in the world.

I have been for years a regular customer of this place, every time I returned home from abroad. I have taken dozens of friends here as it is a winebar which dates back in time, mentioned by Dante Alighieri and Torquato Tasso. The place is small and cosy. I was totally disappointed in the past year by the poor quality... More

The most ancient vine bar in Italy still in activity. It started before the America discovering! And It's not a joke!

I love this place, not only is it the oldest wine bar in the world, but the staff are exceptionally talented with their wine knowledge and ability to choose the perfect wine for individuals taste. Thank you!

This is a busy little bar with a great atmosphere. You can't prebook but we only had to wait ten minutes to get a table. They have lots of local wine and the food is great too. They cook in the tiniest kitchen space in front of you. I'd really recommend the pasta. The service was great too.

It would be enough to walk into a wine bar where Copernicus and Titian drank. Al Brindisi, tucked beside the Ferrara Duomo, also has a wonderful wine selection (served with great care and flair) and great food. Rows of shelves filled with dusty bottles are enhanced by the owner's collection of musical instruments; old Barry White and jazz albums were... More

This is not a fine dining experience so if you after that, go somewhere else. The food however is honest, simple and good. We asked for a local wine, and were served a decent bottle of red at a reasonable price. We had different pastas and both were quite good. The crowd skewed to the younger side, but older couples... I had a glass of wine an a plate of ham and similars. Good quality and decent food. High priced: 4 euro of cover to have a glass of wine sitting outside in the afternoon is ridiculous.

All I can say about this restaurant/wine bar is... WOW. The menu is not very wide, but this is to be considered a good point: the chef can cook those dishes perfectly and with extreme care and passion. Do not look for fancy nouvelle cuisine... here you will find traditional dishes from the city of Ferrara. If you are up... More
