Visiting a restaurant that is located straight at the promenade, one certainly has some prejudices, but they were not fulfilled. The food is decent, the prices are fair and the service is alright. However, we went here especially for the vegan options on the menu, and unfortunately they just had the salad and the soup, but not the 'real' dish.... More

This place is quite nice and it has an original architecture, being once a repair warehouse where local fishing boarts were repaired. There are a lot of waiters trying to accomodate guests's needs and all this has a positive impact on the customers. Food is not up to the standard of this restaurant; in fact our dinner's guest returned several... More

During a trip with family we decided to trust TripAdvisor and tried this restaurant in front of the lake..the food was really amazing! I m still dreaming of the ravioli with ink sauce filled with seabass..one the best fish course ever tasted! Unfortunately the service was quite poor..with waiters wandering with dishes not so confident of the table where to... More

We dined here twice while on holiday and found the food quality and service to be consistantly good. On the first occasion we had a table for 8 and enjoyed starters, main courses and desserts which were all varied and served within a good time frame. The customer service and atmosphere was very good. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We will... More

We came to this restaurant after it being recommended in a guide book. We were not disappointed. The menu was varied and suited my diabetic and vegetarian diet. My husband declared the dessert he ordered as the best he had ever eaten...ever! And he always eats dessert.

Mediocre at best. Even though it was busy Friday night, it does not excuse very bad service - drinks were not offered (mind you, it is where restaurants make money), we had to chase the waiters to get a menu, it took ages for starters (just cold cuts), water and wine to arrive, we had to remind the waiters about... Would have liked to have eaten here but after being sat at table outside and given two menus, waiter never came back. Two other tables which sat after us had their orders taken taken and drinks served. We tried to speak to three waiters but they all ignored us so we got up and left.

The restaurant is located by the harbour, watching the crowds streaming by was restful and interesting the food was good and the service was good. They allowed enough time between courses and didn't make me feel rushed as people queued to get into the restaurant. Certainly not cheap but well worth a visit if you are in Bardolino which is full... More

Description
The Loggia Rambaldi, a 16th-century building by the school of the architect Giulio Romano, looks onto the harbour of Bardolino right where the lake, coming further inland after the Belvedere bay, opens up to become a welcoming amphitheatre. It was built towards the end of the 1500s by the Marquis Girolamo Rambaldi, who conceived it as a belvedere on the lake facing his stately home in Bardolino. The Loggia has survived the centuries and is witness to an ambitious project that was later modified. Fortunately, neither the erosion of the elements nor that resulting from changing customs have interfered with its architectural worth, and it stands today as one of Bardolino’s most precious buildings. The outcome is a setting that is both simple and harmonious, where historical charm merges with the warmth and attention generated by individuals who have chosen professional catering not only because it is a long family tradition, but above all because they are passionate about their work. The dining room is divided lengthwise into three ‘naves’ by columns that also support the beautiful vaulted ceiling and it features a large fireplace that gives warmth and additional atmosphere. It is without doubt a splendid setting for any occasion.
