Osteria Cacio e Pepe had amazing food! My friends and I all ordered pasta dishes and really enjoyed them. The restaurant was very busy so it was good that we made a reservation. The only part that was not great was the service. The staff...were inattentive and did not make an effort to be friendly. They made my experience extremely unpleasant. The service is the only reason that I would not go back to this restaurant.More

in 5 days we tried several places. This particular place offers slightly different menu. It is overall good but not perfect. Certainly would visit again. But it is not a top rated for me

This is a very great restaurant with really tasty original Italian food. If you want to try original local food you need to try this place. Pastas with sauce are awesome (especially Tonnarelly cacio e pepe) and the main dishes also very tastefull, for example...Pollo alla romana con peperoni.More

Good traditional trattoria with great pasta dishes, pizzas and antipasti. Mezzemaniche combinations take you to the old Italy of your recollections (the guanciale with carciofi and carbonara are amongst the best I have ever had). Portions are meant for very hungry people. Service is good,...but the best is to interact with the Roman owner who acts as a waiter. If you are a foreigner, you get a very unique cultural experience.More

The food is simply great. If you share something for two people make sure to bring a couple of friends - otherways you won't be able to eat everything. (and we really were hungry) They have nice bottles of wine and we got a good...limoncello afterwards.More

Wanted to try this place for a while. Finally went there for lunch. Food was ok, not great but good enough. Issue was when paying. I didn’t recognize one dish and upon mentioning it I was corrected by my partner that she order it. Ok....No issue let’s pay the bill. I paid and then I noticed another dish I did not recognize. This time I gave the whole bill to my partner and she realized it was wrong. Finally the owner accepted it was not our bill and said he mixed up the tables. Fair enough, everyone makes mistakes. However, no apology, didn’t give me another (corrected) bill. Just made some mental calculation and gave me back 19€. Maybe that was the right amount, maybe not. Right thing to do would have been to make a new correct bill and give it to me. I will give this establishment the benefit of the doubt. However, not apologizing for THEIR mistake, the whole thing of having to insist there was a problem with the bill and the mental gymnastics to calculated the credit I should get back left the proverbial bad taste in my mouth strong enough to make me not want to come back.More

We all had pizzas. So I cannot say anything about the rest of the menu, but the pizzas were great. Staff was friendly and serviceminded. Creditcards were accepted. All in all a good experience. Absolutely recommended.

We try grill, it was ok, on a plate for two enough meat and potatoes (28 eur for a plate for two). Big garden in front of restaurant. The prices are not too high. You need to pay cover charge 2 eur per person.

... unlike most of the town! The quality of the bread and of the pizza dough was very good, as was the price. The content of our pizzas was sloppy and made the base soggy. The choice of ingredients was reasonable, but not always good...quality. The service was poor; the staff were brusque and even turned people away when there were many tables vacant. This place has potential, but failed to achieve it today.More

A nice place, with typical italian atmosphere. The menu is very tempting and you must be prepared to go trough antipasto, pasta, piatto principale and dessert.
