Came for the all you can eat breakfast buffet with the hubby n children! Children eat free with a paying adult so we all ate and had drinks for under £20. There was plenty of choice. Food was fresh and hot and the staff were helpful and friendly we would definitely come for breakfast again

Ate here as we were staying at the Premier Inn and it was handy as the weather was lousy. The best thing was the price as residents could get a special meal and breakfast deal. The restaurant lacks character and was completely dead. It's certainly nothing worth travelling for and I'm sure nearly all of their customers were guests at... More

Used to be first class, but all window frames and woodwork in the conservatories is completely rotten. Had carvery for Sunday lunch. Suspect the cow died of old age as despite trying with 3 knives it was impossible to cut the beef. ( Might have made a good sole for shoes!). The turkey was fine, but you needed a hammer... More

Went to the Tudor Rose for lunch on Monday with a friend and we found it very good, the restaurant was quite busy but didn't have to wait long for food.the coffee was refillable and the staff every time they passed the table and saw that the cups were empty would pick them up for a refill,so was impressed with... Had 2 meals in the hotel bar during the evenings. The first night the meal was excellent. Had the Halloumi heaven burger with sweet potato fries. Second night had the Quiche and was disappointed. I was offered another meal or drink. Took the drink as colleagues had finished.

17 of us went for a birthday meal but in the end it was more more like 117 with the other 100 being flies!! They were everywhere and got worse when our food arrived. We did complain to the waitress (who was very understanding and passed on our comments) and we also complained at the bar. Not even a apology... More

Visited the restaurant last night with a friend on an impromptu impulse as we were looking for somewhere to eat early evening. Our first indications were not good when the lady behind the bar informed us that there was a 40 minute wait for food, and we were nearly going to go. However I am pleased that we perceveired as... We came here on the 3rd of march, arrived 8ish and was told there would be at least 45 minute wait which was okay, we shared a few bags of crisps to put us on!! Food was lovely although they didn't have the half chicken which a couple of us ordered. When the food arrived it was hot and good... More

The staek (sirloin) was supposed to be an 8oz steak , which i would be suprised if it was, less than a 1/4inch thick, grilled to within an inch of its life !!!!! the chips were fryups from hours before, the fat/oil needs changing immediately,... Had an overnight stay with my wife where we met up with friends. The weather er was generally poor, so most of the time was spent in the bar/restaurant, the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The room in the associated Premier Inn looked as though it had been recently refurbished and the WiFi seemed to be quite reasonable... More
