Was staying at Crabwall Manor and wanted to go out for tea and had passed the Wheatsheaf so decided to give it a go. We all ordered burgers and they were lovely. Had unlimited chips, veg and salad so pretty good value but nothing special. Special mention to Julie who we met when we tried to order as asked what... More

Hi Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit and your burgers. Sorry to hear there was a moment with Julie but I'm pleased she came back and fixed it. Like our facebook page to keep up to date with our offers and events. We've recently done a Zoo trip with the pub. All the children filled up on a full... More

Five of us ate here at the end of march.. Starters came about 40 mins after placing our order.. Food is pretty much what you expect from a value pub menu but hats off to the pizzas which are lovely and thin and freshly made to order.. Duck and hoisin pizza, just like crispy duck with pancakes but on a... More

Hi thanks for taking the time to review, I'm not sure what's happened or why you've waited 40 minutes for starters this obviously isn't what we set out to deliver and am sorry you've been disappointed on the day. Really pleased to hear the pizzas met your expectation and you enjoyed them. We have lots new flavours on the menu... More

This pub was fifteen minute walk from our airb&b and a great place to grab cheap eats and a very reasonably priced pint. On our first evening ; only one dried portion of steak pie was left and hr chef told us to wait 15 minutes and he'd have a fresh one; and despite the amount of people in the... More

Food is basic but nice. Carvery is tasty and you can have as much veg etc as you'd like. Couldn't eat all my meat so they boxed it up and my dogs had it for tea.

Have been to this carvery pub on a few occasions now mainly because the food is good and it's consistent. Don't expect a gastro pub, it's not. The food is filling and there's plenty of it. Personally I recommend the breakfasts. The staff are friendly and helpful and the price is right

After dropping my passengers off at Cheshire Oaks I had a few hours to kill so headed into countryside to find a place to eat. Came across this place. Staff extremely friendly, carvery was lovely, will call in again if I'm in the area again.
