Very easy to find, just follow the B1140 form Acle on the A47 to Reedham. The road eventually becomes Ferry Rd, you can't miss it. Nice olde world pub with good beer and good food at reasonable prices. After your meal, why not go look at the chain ferry, the only one in this country. It has been running since... More

Half a pint of bitter, a medium sized glass of Pinot Grigiot, a bag of salted peanuts - £9.30!!! March 17. Won't go back, and it's a shame. It's a lovely pub in a lovely location, and we don't mind paying a bit over the odds for that, but nobody enjoys being ripped off. You choose - you might be... More

Dear Steve B, Thank you for recent review, I can only apologies for an error made as although the wine prices have had a slight increase, your drinks bill was indeed high for what you had. Looking into the matter I can only come to the conclusion that you were charged for a pint of bitter rather than a half.... More

My wife and I stayed at the adjoining campsite for two nights in March. The pub surpassed my expectations with great atmosphere, excellent local beer and friendly, helpful, local staff. It also had a lovely log fire.. We did not eat there as we had already made our plans but the food looked good, although probably not the cheapest.

Lovely Sunday roast dinner on the 26th Feb. ....all had lovely meals and puddings were great too. Had a small issue with the wrong meal being brought out but it was replaced very quickly and they couldn't of been more apologetic .....we will return.

We had never been to this part of Norfolk before, but as a visit was necessary in Reedham we decided to stay for lunch. Lovely location on the river. Very friendly pub, serving well cooked and presented food. Reasonable prices too.

The service, food and atmosphere at the Ferry all made this a venue to return to - and its so nearly "excellent". Just a few little things let them down.......and, for us, the most important would be to stop serving "the Sunday roast" in big soup dishes - SO clumsy to have to use as a diner

Visited here after taking the dogs for an afternoon walk. Nice roast, nice atmosphere, lovely open fire and very friendly staff. Ferry is free if you've used the pub👍

Lovely location - a table by the window overlooking the river and ferry provides the opportunity to watch the world float by. My main course (venison sausages) was very tasty and my wife's roast beef was also satisfying. However, 10% more expensive than 'good value'. There was a mess up with the dessert though. After 30 minutes, our enquiry was... More

Lovely pub with a cosy log fire and fantastic home made food. We both loved our meals and will be back soon :-)
